Probably as experiments in order to perfect the process before trying the procedure on the Snoke clones

This is the first part of the statement. The next part talks about not continuing it.

That's why they reference fearing "the same regrettable fate." I.E. the same thing happening to the current one as the one's before it.

I went back to look again more closely, because my first thought was that they were working on cloning Emperor Palpatine and bringing him back. But the shapes in those tanks looked very Snoke-like to me.

I went back to look again more closely, because my first thought was that they were working on cloning Emperor Palpatine and bringing him back. But the shapes in those tanks looked very Snoke-like to me.

Im near certain you can see a scar running down one of the heads which looks very similar to Snokes.

I'm just not sure it feels right for Palpy to be the one pulling Gideons strings here. I can't see how that picture plays out within the confines of this show.

I find it more reasonable that he's on a Force power trip.

But hey, I didn't see them actually going with the whole Palpy ressurection anyway, so....

just got done watching the lastest episode needless to say "I Am NOT AMUSED". From literal macaroons being placed into the star wars universe to the horrible holocron thing the classroom was looking at I just feel like its not even star wars. Needless to say The scene where they literally ripped of the death star trench run got me pissed off,if i wanted to see a trench run i would have watched the original trench run!!! Disney stole so many elements from previous star wars movies and games in this current season of mandolorian its ridiculous.From the white spiders from the old republic to the massive krayt dragon....Which isn't how a krayt dragon looks like by the way(again the old republic show us one).I'm not the only one to think like this plenty of people that I talk to have the same greviouses (hehehe)about this series.I know I should be use to disneys low ball scripts but I just can't get over the fact that this is supposedly star wars. Uh, that was not a rip off of the trench run. Unless you consider any scene with TIE Fighters in it a rip off of that scene.

They aren't stealing anything. They own the franchise. If they want to recreate a scene or pay homage to one, they can do so.

Mando has been hit like a freight train several times and his helmet doesn't budge. It's not that unbelievable, And who says it was safely on? Maybe he crawled out with it in hand or threw it out first. Maybe don't jump to angry conclusions about something so minor.

Lastly does anyone care that sabben is probably dead? Considering that she was the last known mando to have the black lightsaber...I'm done for now

There is no indication that Sabine is dead. The thing has been stolen before.

I definitely think the goal for Moff Gideon is to create the dark troopers.

I don't think the series is building to the grandiose reveal the Snoke is one of those dark troopers, but I also won't be shocked if that's the direction they take.
