Best Non-Bond Connery Film? (post-Untouchables)

I'll have to go with Russia House, a sensitive, compassionate portrayal of one of John Le Carre's more intriguing characters. Others may differ. Also see pre-Untouchables topic for Other option.

Full disclosure: Connery was an unapologetic wife-beater as well as a top shelf actor. No excuses made or required.

We're not going to control the pandemic!

It is a slaughter and not just a political dispute.

"The scraps of narcissism, the rotten remnants of conspiracy theories, the offal of sour grievance, the half-eaten bits of resentment flow by. They do not cohere. But they move in the same, insistent current of self, self, self."

Here we are, born to be kings
We're the princes of the universe
Here we belong, fighting to survive
In a world with the darkest powers
