As we know, there are several personality types in anime. The kind dere-dere, the intensely dedicated yandere, the reluctant tsundere, the cynical kuudere, the sadistic sadodere, and so on. So, what would each world leader be as an anime personality type?

Let's begin with the largest countries and leaders, as well as my opinions:

Trump- Yandere
Moon- Kuudere
Xi-Kuudere
Modi- Bakadere
Merkel- Dandere
Trudeau- Deredere
Macron- Dandere
Putin- Sadodere
Suga- Dandere

First, let's discuss Trump. Please give evidence for your opinion! If you think he is "other" personality type, please write in the comments!

I think he is likely tsundere, because of how he expresses his emotions as hatred but might desire closer relations with some people.

If Trump fits any 'dere' archetype, I'd say oujidere (masculine of himedere). He is massively arrogant, but that does not preclude his sincere love for America and the American people. He'd seem less tsundere if the media and political establishment didn't have such a vested interest in twisting everything he says/does (or ignoring what they can't twist) to try to make him look bad.

By that same token, the American democrat leaders have largely devolved into self obsessed yanderes, attacking anything that stands between them and their one true love, personal power. Such a shame that their deredere façade still has so many people fooled.

Well, to be serious, I think Trump is kind of a complex man, he's neither tsundere or yandere, he's just...Trump, kind of hard for me to put him in any category if you know what I mean.

No, I dislike them.

As much as I would like trying to apply those dere types to real leaders or historical characters, a lot of them are a lot more complex to entirely fit in a single dere type, just as others have said. Also, I think some of those dere types (like the yandere) would barely fit for any modern leader, as no modern country's leader is ''lovesick'' with something, as far as I know. I wouldn't place Trump in any of dere categories, as the fruitfulness of trying to apply dere types to real persons is debatable. That said, if I absolutely had to pick, I would go for what others suggested - oujidere (Although I am not sure if he cares much about America either).

He's certainly not yandere. The idea of Trump obsessing over anyone but himself is out of character....can you Yandere three times?

Tsundere implies he actually cares secretly, he doesn't.

Absolutely agree with other people in this threat, Trump is a Himedere.

"Himedere" (Princess-dere) is female version, the male should be "Oujidere" (Prince-dere), but I agree with your argument. Perhaps he isn't as tsundere as I thought he was.
