That sounds like The Most Unwanted Song if it took itself seriously.

I saw a video using cats dancing. Had quite a few laughs over it. Shame on me.

Oh, another song I think is the worst is Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood”. Then again, I don’t like Swift at all because every song is the same.

Bad Blood is pretty terrible. Especially the chorus, which grated the first time I ever heard it. Never heard the remix with Kendrick on it and I don't plan to, so I wouldn't be surprised if Dres was right and getting him on was all about the money or publicity. Then again, I'm not particularly into Taylor Swift anyway (though I will admit that Blank Space and the infamous Track 3 are among some of her good songs) so I can't really comment that much on it.

Xmara wrote:Unpopular opinion: WAP by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion is terrible.

I think it’s an unpopular opinion, given that it seemed like the critics were raving over it when it was first released, but tbh I hated it. I don’t care too much for songs with such sexually explicit lyrics because they make me kind of uncomfortable. I know I sound like a prude, and I probably am a prude, but this is how I feel about it.

I must admit that I actually quite like WAP. The beat really fits it and gets stuck in your head, Cardi and Megan have some good lines and great chemistry and plus it was funny to see a few people complaining about it (namely Ben Shapiro) getting clowned on.

But still, if you don't like it, that's fine. It's pretty much a "love it or hate it" song and I imagine that that's what they were all going for anyway.

I honestly forgot about Writing's On The Wall (the Sam Smith song), which is quite possibly one of the worst Bond themes ever. In fact, a few years ago, my girlfriend at the time tried to include it as one of our songs but I wasn't keen on it because it's basically just Sam making themselves as miserable as possible and it doesn't get you excited for the movie, it just bores you instead especially as he constantly whines about "risking it all". Which is why I've added it to that long and uninteresting list I've made.

There I was at a KC and the Sunshine Band concert, just turned 18 (so I would have to pay my own medical bills), dying of heat exhaustion. They called the paramedics, who called an ambulance and I refused to get into it, knowing that I could not afford it on top of physical therapy I was already in (and could not afford). They carried me to a beer tent and covered me in icey wet Bud Light beer rags. Then there it was, the cover band. Trichotomous Hippopotamus. Worst song I ever heard was pretty much a tie between all of their songs.
It was so bad. So, so, so bad. The only reason I remember their name is because of how bad they were. I don't know if this is a made up memory I planted in my own head or real life, but I remember no one cheering them on and a ton of people just leaving. I do remember that an absolute TON of people were shoving whatever they could get into their ears and wrapping whatever they could around their heads because it gave everyone headaches.

I don't know if this counts, but I've seen a BBC documentary about WWI that used dubstep as background music, here's a link to a clip of the documentary:

But I must admit, I do like seeing people like Ben Shapiro getting made fun of.

Eh, it was playing on the radio at the time, and I don't find that to be best quality so perhaps I should listen to it again.

EDIT: Had a listen to it again. Everything as I thought it was (save for the instrumentation), but not to the same extent.

probably those annoying 2000s songs on early youtube like

Crazy Frog, PB&J Time and The Duck Song (and the gummy bear song.)

Friday by Rebecca Black and Baby by Justin Bieber; say what you want about them,
but they're at least ironically fun to listen to.

The majority of mass-produced pop music is just generic. That's worse and worse than those annoying songs,
because the Music industry executives do not care.

But this is a special kind of bad because it's fundamentally DESIGNED to be annoying.
It's what makes it memorable for all the wrong reasons.
