Definitely V For Vendetta, went through an anarchist phase after watching it though. 16 years later & the movie is still relevant

Don't Look Up, but I also love Hot Fuzz
Slight rant-
TERF is a slur. Biological sex is real, important, and immutable and women's rights will not be ignored.
Saving the environment is not about vapid "VSCO girl" aesthetics, or wanting to be an edgy rebel activist. It's about not dying slowly, horribly, and painfully along with everything else on this lonely outpost in space that serendipitously happened to spawn beautiful life.

OOC-
hello there
I like books, indie rock, plaid, typewriters, and the Scottish Highlands.
I sometimes :), occasionally >:/, and very rarely (┛◉Д◉)┛彡┻━┻.

Being John Malkovich, which is insanely surreal, and Nineteen-Eighty Four, which I find addicting due to the post-apocalyptic dystopian environment.

A Few Good Men; LOVED all the characters, the plot and the atmosphere.
Langers Prime - "The wise council? I had 'em lined up and shot."
Justice in Langersland
Langersland's Symbols - Flag | Animal | Anthem
It's all (mostly) banter and RP; don't take anything seriously :)

Movies I'd watch several times and still:

  • 12 Monkeys
  • Smoke
  • Big Fish
  • The Straight Story
  • The Big Lebowski

Saying 'Star Wars' seems pointless, obviously I'll watch that a million more times. But also as culturally relevant etc etc it's kind of a silly movie.

There are probably more I forgot, just the ones in my head at the moment.
"...I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." -MLK Jr.

Best is subjective.

Still; at the moment I am liking Freeguy. It’s not the best; I just like it.

* There is actually a War on Christmas. But Christmas started it, with it's unparalleled aggression against the Thanksgiving Holiday, and now Christmas has seized much Lebensraum in November, and are pushing into October. The rest of us seek to repel these invaders, and push them back to the status quo ante bellum Black Friday border. -Trotskylvania
