Back on track, the Pinewood Computer Core is actually a pretty fun game to be on if there's a number of active players already on. It's one of the few games I like to visit frequently. Melting down the core is some of the best fun Roblox has.

Part of the Pinewood community. Basically, you and the server are in charge of maintaining a core's temperature to make sure it doesn't meltdown or freezedown. Either of those mean game over.

But nobody really tries to maintain the core. You just have to join a server and see what everyone's trying to do at any given time.

It's the spaceship one, right? I wonder if the devs will update with new facilities because I feel like the spaceship is particularly lacking. It also got fun when someone decides to turn into a zombie and infect everyone else on the ship. I usually decide to spread it and annoy the people that are resetting their character to avoid the disease or the people that have the healing guns. That's pretty much all I can do because I have no robux.

I think I've tried Pinewood before because the name sounds awfully familiar. I'll check it out.

Why are there 2,000 SCP:F groups?

That and Clone Wars groups. The abundance of such groups is a mystery but I'm also curious about the wide appeal both groups have. I can get the Clone Wars groups because of the wide demographics the Star Wars franchise likely has; a lot of people watched it fairly young, around the age many users are in Roblox. But I didn't come across SCP until I was older and I'd hazard a guess a lot of others hadn't either considering how adult the content was and how, unlike Star Wars, it wasn't as flashy and widespread. I'm curious if anyone has any theories on the appeal of SCP in Roblox.

I'm not sure if it's the spaceship one; it might have a spaceship now, but I don't know because I haven't played in a while. Innovation Labs, when I was playing, was a sci-fi laboratory whose big attractions were the reactor and the chamber that could turn players into contagious zombies. The game was tied to the group where, I believe, you could sign up for a "researcher" role (IDK what that would entail) or security.

Yes, that game was Brickbattle. Konekokitten did a video on Super Doomspire, but it was some time ago, so some of the things could be outdated.

Well, there are a few new mechanics too - for example, now you can also perform rocket jump, not only bomb jump. Super Doomspire also has more maps, like Jungle, Snowfall, Galaxy, Ocean, etc, and some of them have a bit different characteristics than others. There are also a few new gamemodes - along with the classic four team one, there is also the ''two teams'' one, which gives two towers for two teams, and each has 8 players. There is also now store as well, where you can buy improved versions of tools for crowns (you get those from destroying spawns, bricks of the enemy team, or killing enemies, although you can get them from various chests around the spectator purgatory (A place where players wait until the next round starts). If your team loses all of the spawns, you can still continue playing, but you will not respawn after being killed anymore, which makes winning a lot more harder. However, it is possible to clutch victory for your team even with all spawns destroyed, if you play well. If no team has spawns left, an ''area circle'' will appear on a some part of the map, and those outside of it will start taking damage after some time. If time runs out before one of the teams has won, they get a tie victory.

Super Doomspire also changed a lot of the tool designs - for example, the default Super Doomspire's rocket and bomb looks different (Although you can still buy things like classic rocket or classic trowel in store). There are also various stickers, which you can use to communicate by pressing z, x, and c buttons (Those can also be bought in game's store) The spawns also look differently, and the look of the game feels a lot more ''modern''.

However, the gameplay in core still remains similar - you need to bring down the doomspires of enemy teams, and score on the top of the leaderboard by getting most of kills (You get featured as MVP, even if your team lost, and the reward bonus also includes the amount of spawns yo destroyed). There are also ''party modes'' which have different gameplay, however - in Infected, for an example, two players are picked as ''zombies'', and they have to infect all of the ''survivors'' (Zombies are green, but survivors are red). Zombies have lower health, and they only have two tools - melee, and superball for ranged attacks (They can still reflect rocket fire with their melee, however - an another mechanic implemented in Super Doomspire). However, they run faster and jump further. When only two survivors have left, the zombie team will become aware of their location (Most likely in-game design for rounds to end quicker).
