So I decided to continue my Trebizond CK2 game into EU4. I managed to expand a decent bit, although I have no idea how to get money. Also, Venice is the same color as my country and I don't care for that.

It's nice to see a CK2 - EUIV transfer that isn't just an enormous blob that you can't lose with. I fundamentally do not understand why people play with Europe-sized Roman Empires in EUIV, like, what is the appeal of that?

Was just reading this thread on the CK3 Reddit and it's made me realize that I have NEVER gotten the Lunatic or Possessed traits. I'm coming close to putting 500 hours into CK3 and I have not seen them on my characters even ONCE. How do you even get them? It's so funny to contrast this with my experiences from CK2 where every other leader would go insane.

Thinking of doing a CK3 game where I start off as a pagan viking, conquer some parts of Iberia, make some bastard hybrid culture, spawn a Christian heresy, get involved in the Struggle for Iberia, then build an Iberian-Nordic Empire with a unified peninsula.

Depending on how the vassals joining works (and whether this means you might get a massive war between multiple "cliques" in your realm, one helping the King and the other the separatists), this could be very interesting to see play out, not gonna lie.
