Those of you who play CK3, how's the struggle mechanic working? Would you say it's working well to make interesting games or is it just sort of gimmicky?

They and Venezuela always join the Axis for no reason other than to ruin your day. I'd gladly build them a railroad system myself if it meant that it no longer took an entire month to move a unit one province, just to have them attacked and sent back immediately because they have no fucking supplies.

They made my attempts for that Colombia ship achievement an absolute nightmare. Almost every time you would just get bogged down in those mountains for years and half the time the nazis somehow shipped entire tank divisions over to help them (i guess the allies were all on break and didnt notice the transport fleets)

Well that's upsetting, I forgot to hit the screenshot button when I became the Chakravarti of India. I wanted to sneak in a quick first taste of what I've been doing this past while. Uniting all of India was a secondary goal for this run and I finally accomplished that today.

Behold, the Chewdachowda Raj. A society developed out of Gujarat, a culture that uniquely has Vegetarianism as a cultural tradition right from the start of the game, and everything I've done has centered around it.

The first half of my traditions come across so innocently. Admittedly, the first three were part of the original Gujarati template.
Then the second half of my traditions details about how we deal with take-out in our culture. Also, we're pacifists.
And then you have the religion and realize that if you live in the area of this empire, you should probably flee in the opposite direction as fast as possible.

I was initially kinda upset that so much of the Kingdom of Lhomon (the eastern Himalayas) was de jure drifted into the Bengal empire, it meant for extra time and effort dealing with it, but in the end, I have to admit that India probably looks better with it than without it.

You know what I like how those unit types look. They're at least interesting enough for me, especially that one with a ski in his backpack, he looked very funny for reasons I can't really articulate.

One thing to note here is that jet engines (and rocket engines, for that matter) are part of these engine slots, which means that they are available for all types of planes. This, by necessity, means that Jet Fighters and other jet-powered airplanes are no longer their own unit type - they are now simply fighters with jet engines. Jet fighters will therefore reinforce regular fighter wings, and also that you can now effectively make jet carrier planes, jet CAS, jet heavy fighters etc.with the plane designer.
