That fun moment when the Eurdite Explorers Voiddwellers whos ass you recently kicked fucking moves science and construction ships through your now open border(why the fuck does a war ending automatically open your borders do the person you were just fighting that makes no sense) and they steal they systems you had blocked off for yourself.

So you realize they are bulding all over it and are gonna take it before you can so you resolve to spend the next few years before you can go to war again claiming them all, preparing to beat their ass again, vowing to do horrible things to their children and you decide to look over the shit they stole from you. And to your shock one of the systems has 20 society research?

Yeah it was the Voidspawn. It fucked their starbase(not a simple outpost but an actual starbase so they had to waste hundreds of alloys on it when all their habaits are filled up and their population is stagnating so hah) there and they lost the system. That defintly helped soothes the saltiness of having to wait to finally retake those systems. Now I just have the moral dilemma of whether I want to kill it or leave it be as a reward for its service.

I think it's supposed to be so you can move back your ships and armies or deploy your science ships for reverse-engineering duty.

Got back to CK3 with a 867 start as the guy who rules the Isle of Mann under the Sudreyjar. Up until now all I've learned is that the Kingdom of Mann is absolutely overpowered and I am all here for it.

I checked the USSR focus tree and from what i can see they removed the focus "New Soviet Man", you know the one i raged about for being dumb as it just gave you kamikaze attack missions? So im glad its no longer kamikaze missions, but i feel my vindication has been robbed as it was not changed to something else.

But the focus New Soviet Woman focus gives you some nice stuff i will admit:

Stability +10
Communist Support +10
Political Power +70

Does anyone else feel the AI has been improved a bit this patch? I see them actually using orders like Last Stand and Force Attack and moving their units around a bit better to not cripple their supply lines.

I started up my first Stellaris game in quite a while and it's been a lot of fun so far. I started as a Fanatic Materialist/Militarist empire with the Mechanist origin and decided I'd go all in on tech rushing and becoming the most advanced empire in the galaxy. Overall that's actually gone pretty well, it's about 2370 now and I've long since taken Synthetic Ascension and mind uploaded my entire species to further spec into research and I've gotten almost every tech in the game now, even the ones from Gigastructures. I do border a Fanatic Spiritualist FE who abhors me for becoming a machine species but thus far I've managed to avoid them declaring war on me and I'm at about 70k fleet power and still rapidly increasing that number so in another decade or two I should be ready to knock them out, especially if I build a Planetcraft or two to accompany my main fleets.

The big worry though is Aeternum, I explored the galactic core and found them and oh boy they're scary. Even in their fallen state they have millions of fleet power. I want to eventually conquer their Birch World but that is going to be an incredibly difficult war.
