I think the UNE always spawns if you are the Commonwealth. Though saying that ive never actually played as them i think.

in other news, there are three human empires now; the UNE, the CWM, and the human empire, spiritualist rebels from another empire i assume the UNE lost a war to. i also gained a voluntary subject, which was nice.

Vikings are always fun, its a fall back for me but after a while they get a bit stale.

Maybe pick somewhere you have never played before? I had a really really fun campaign in India in CK2 once after not touching the place for ages.

Ahhh the memories. Its even got Hungarian Somaliland in it, but is before my great wars with Spain, the first of which killed like 500k people i think and ended in a white peace.

Always good fun to inflate the enemy casualty numbers on the war screen.

On a different note, I've been playing KR4 again. Pretty fun in my opinion, though the 2nd Weltkrieg slowdown is still quite noticeable. Fortunately, it goes away when the war ends, and doesn't come back unless war breaks out amongst the victors.

One should always spawn if the other does. Though there have been multiple times, even in newer versions, where the "find the lost colony ships and encounter the Commonwealth" event chain never fires like it should.
