Update on my After the End game! My first true interaction with the Catholic Midwest came in the form of the Scouts Crusade, which met a violent end at the gates of Washington.

New England was brought back into the United States after about two decades of wars with the Occultist locals.

The President linked his dynasty to that of the famed ancient conqueror MacArthur.

A Russian colony has been established off the Alaskan coastline.

The city of San Francisco and the surrounding countryside were occupied and rapidly colonized by Japanese settlers, forming the state of Beikoku.

I called an Intervention for Georgia, targeting the remnants of the Confederacy after I had swept away the Consumerists in the Carolinas to the north. Nearly one thousand years after the original conflict Confederate and Union forces again met on the field of battle, with the Confederates suffering a near total defeat and surrendering Georgia entirely shortly after the conclusion of the battle.

Which brings us to the overall state of North America in late 2745, I've had great success so far but I have a long way to go in reuniting America still.

I really can't wait for After the End in CK3, playing it again in CK2 really solidified my opinion it is the best mod for Crusader Kings, it's not even a competition honestly.

Thinking about it, I probably should've posted how my Vokarana campaign is going. I'm actually having fun, surprisingly, even though I've fought around 4 civil wars and my latest king died at around 30 from food poisoning of all things.

Does anyone know if the "Create A New Empire" decision in CK2 requires to own the entirety of 3 kingdoms? I already own one (my own), about half of another, and maybe a third of another.

I think you just need the titles. As long as you control three kingdom titles you should be able to form your own empire.

If the Charlemagne DLC is active, rulers can create a custom de jure empire.

This decision is available to an independent king with 8,000 prestige as well as either 180 holdings in their realm, or else three kingdom titles. Custom empires are named after, and take the color of, their creator's primary kingdom (although they can be renamed by owning the Customization Pack DLC).

When formed, all kingdoms either held or entirely controlled by their creator ruler become de jure vassals of the custom empire, so long as their original de jure empire does not exist.
