I'm playing in Yemen in CK3 and for some reason Adamites became a big thing in Nubia and almost every Adamite I come across is extremely overweight. It's weird.

Now i know people dont like the new update either but its fine for me, im having a lot of fun in Stellaris, far more than ive had in years so i dont care that much about the pop changes. But if you dont like that you are more than right to give off about it and how it impacts the game.

Oh yeah, I forgot that people can be awful like that. I hadn't thought about death threats, I was just thinking about run of the mill bitching in the forums.

In fact im near certain you could manually give systems to them at one point early on in the game.

Which lead to people just putting every planet in one giant sector. Good times.

Well i think there should be a limit of how many systems can be a sector, and maybe have a tech for it you can research to increase how many systems can be in a sector maximum.

Sectors were great for "I cannot be bothered dealing with these planets any more", but this seems to not be to the liking of the people who can manage planets better than the sector AI.

* Increased the minimum growth of planets near the top of the logistic growth curve to 10% from 1%.
* Significantly reduced the effect of empire pops on the required growth of new pops to 0.25 from 0.5.
* Reduced the number of pops required to upgrade capital buildings to 10/25/50 from 10/40/80.

I really like CK3's ability to create your own heresy but I feel like it doesn't live up to it's full potential. Most of the options for tenants, for example, just alter what traits are consider sins and virtues and thus only really change character stats and opinion modifiers which is kind of lame and it makes those options less viable when compared to ones that give you great holy wars and special events and stuff.

Started a necrophage Stellaris game. Space vampires! All the other civilisations I've met so far are much, much bigger than me, aside from the one neighbour I attacked. I'm either getting ahead in tech by not having as much empire sprawl, or I'm just gonna get stepped on.

I don't think I've played the rock people much, but the space vampires are pretty cool so far. Instead of guaranteed habitable worlds, you get guaranteed primitive civilisations you can invade and convert. And despite the fact that I've been turning their citizens into space vampires, people have been signing migration treaties with me.

Not gonna lie, I turned off Lithoids quite a while ago and I've been happier since. They destroyed empire-wide pop growth before it was cool. Seriously, if you play as the kind of empire to sign migration pacts, lithoids ALWAYS find their way through some crazy web of treaties to find yours and just absolutely tank your growth by spawning on ALL of your worlds. You just cannot do migration treaties with lithoids in your galaxy and have decent growth, it's very annoying.

That being said, I've never actually played as a lithoid enough to have an opinion from that perspective.

Everytime I play Stellaris is seems the cosmic dice are rolled purely to fuck with whatever I wanted. Genocidal empire? All you're neighbours will discover the power of friendship and unite to defeat you. Friendly federation? Now they're all space nazis. Peaceful isolationists because fuck them all just leave me alone? You're surrounded by fanatic super space nazis and every crisis will spawn next to you.

I have some fellow spiritualists to my south who are chill. But my northern neighbours are a bag of dicks.

My last game where i got all those achievements is soo different. Almost every nation was some form of Erudite Explorers, federation builders or a democratic crusader nation with like one or two "bad" factions. There were only a handful of wars till the war in heaven in the late game and everyone was chill to one another.
