It mentioned that stuck-up bitch Mathilda of Tuscany and it’s literally unreadable now.

I've noticed some improvements, but the late game still chugs quite a bit. I tend to play on large size galaxies though.

No mention of a Loyalist Faction, much disappoint.

Would like to see it. It was a good idea for the game of thrones mod.

Yeah, at least you won't accidentally wed your fucking heir to the heir to a county-level territory that is king-tier because he's the cunt leading an independence revolt that's inevitably going to fail lmao.

Ayy I did it

Beat the scourge with the Varelive Arbitrators (they did most of the work beacuse the scourge spawned on the other side of the galaxy)

Also a federation formed early game but mid game it broke apart for some reason. The birbs who where part of the fed where at one pont a great aly, until they started to be dicks. They also called my nation "primitive" when we where kicking there ass tech wise.

With a massive fleet we liberated many solar systems from the birb tyranny. We also invaded liberated a birb colony from there dictatorship in the only land battle of the war. It wasn't taken fully post war sadly, didn't have enough influence to stake a claim on it. (and yes I did play that very song when they surrendered to the light of liberty that is the United Nations of Earth)

post birb war screenshot of some of the fleets post scourge curb stomp screenshot of most of my fleets.

My character survived the black plague sweeping over his realm with nary a scratch (other than when he killed and ate a courtier but let's not talk about that), only to contract it and die when I opened the gates because he was a councilor in the Kaiser's realm which still had the plague.

Feels.
Bad.
Man.

I approve of this fix for revolts. Especially provincial revolts.

I was gonna ask "Who hurt you?" but obviously the answer is Duchess Matilda of Tuscany.

You mean like the vassals that haven't rebelled siding with their liege against the rebels? Because that's always been a pet peeve of mine in CKII. The rebels are literally sieging any piece of my territory - even if it's owned by one of my vassals and not me. I'd think they'd be rounding up their own troops to fight them off as well, but no. They just sit there and let their holdings get sacked and plundered and their relatives captured like dumbshits.

Would love if those worthless bastards actually came to help me for once.

Honestly this. Civil Wars should be between groups, not "a bunch of nobles vs. me". And the rebels shouldn't be allowed to siege a non-hostile rebel (or alternatively, any neutral holding that gets attacked should bring its owner into the war on the other side).

So, when a civil war starts vassals get the option to either back their liege, join the rebels or stay out of it? Basically how they work in the GoT mod, so it should be possible to do in the main game.

The best thing to do is have a titular empire set to elective. Basically just lets you pick your heir, and all your vassals like you more.

Why the fuck is it seen as tyrannical to want to imprison a vassal who is plotting to kill me.

And on a related note, why the fuck does my sister want to kill me when she's already out of the line of succession.

Update: Every time the Byzantines attack me, I feel less and less bad about 1453. Unrelated to the above, but still relevant.

The more one plays CK2 the more they sympathize with the Venetians tbh.
