A triumphant victory
So I started as the 1066 duke of Kent...because why the heck not. Ended up murdering William and Robert, but it passed to a baby instead of continuing until we hit females and the realm collapsed. So what I ended up doing was attempting to press my brother Tostig's claim...but then he died. So I claimed the throne myself, and the kiddo just straight up handed it to us!
I feel rather pleased now.

Now that Paradox has stopped developing CK2, I finally downloaded a version of CK2 with all the DLC included _{from the usual suspects}.

My decisions in buying DLC has been affirmed, half of all the DLC add very few additional features. Still, being a gnostic warlord is fun, but even Holy Fury doesn't add much to that style of gameplay.

Too bad the Holy Roman Empire never vassalizes the Pope though.

It’s definitely worth a try. It’s maybe worth a buy if you can get it and a good chunk of the DLCs on sale.

I had fun with it last time I played, but it probably/definitely has the worst DLC problem of all Paradox games.
I don't have any of the DLC though, so I'm not an authority on the subject.

But yeah, it's worth a try.
