How do you guys feel about Drew Durnil in terms of good quality Paradox gameplays.

I like his content but I don't watch very much of it. He's funny and he plays Paradox games (sometimes), but if I was looking to be amused I'd look to other comedians and if I was looking for Paradox let's plays I'd look to other let's players.

Idk about quality, but his semi-reaction video on playing the Tutorial was mildly entertaining. As was his cameo in EE's Godwinson run.

Pretty much every review I've read is positive. Huh. Man I'm so hyped at this point

It was.

I mean popular because it is introducing the game to a wider audience. That was an entire wave of paid promos.

I miss the dumb cheesy live action adverts for CK2.

As somebody who never really got into CK2 and the tutorial was absolutely rubbish, what are the odds I can get into and learn how to play CK3?

From what I've seen CK3 looks a lot more user friendly and it's tutorial seems to actually explain things in a way someone new to the game would want things explained. Like most Paradox games the problem is rarely the actual difficulty but more often the ability to explain the systems in play, which they have gotten so much better at since the launch of CK2. These are no longer the days of HoI3 and Vicky II with a brick being thrown at your face being called a tutorial. That being said watch someone on youtube or some of Paradox's streams and if you can understand what's roughly going on mechanically I'd say your good.

A couple of streamers I watched today said that the game is much easier to get into than CK2.

So, pretty good, I guess.

I went ahead and bought it, so we'll see.

Honestly, something like the Stellaris tutorial would be great. Stellaris is the only Paradox developed game I remember playing where the tutorial actually taught me how to play it rather than having to try and figure it out myself or watch others play it.

Going to second this. The game still feels very barren. If you play on spot on the map you've played pretty much every spot on the map. The only nation's with real charecter to them are Rome and Carthage.

Thirded. It's like EUIV, but more boring. Wars are just a slog. Domestic stuff is just a budget CK2. It might get better, but I would recommend waiting for a sale or that before buying.

Great holy armies shall be gathered and trained to fight all who embrace evil. In the name of my vagina, ships shall be built to carry the warriors out across the seas and we will spread carnal exaltation to all the unbelievers. The power of the Orgasm will be felt far and wide and the wicked shall be vanquished. Hallowed is the Orgy.
