Now do it as a southern Slav (simply convert to Polish/Russian/Czech/etc) for even less of a connection to Lech, Czech or Rus. What is up with that anyway? There is a whole group of Slavs with no brother.

The whole myth is inconsistent. The Czech version doesn't even mention Rus' at all, and both Czech and Polish versions are focused entirely on their respective origins with the other brother(s) being side-characters.

I, too, don't like that the South Slavs get left out but it kinda does make sense because they're separated from the West and East Slavs by the Magyars and Vlach (who are not Slavic, Paradox - Romanians are not Slavs)

They could have adopted a solution like Pomerania — not necessary, but if they are controlled then they get added.

Couple things:

1. More people need to play CKII. Honestly. I truly expected the numbers to be much, much higher and am very disappointed.
2. I've never even heard of either "Battletech" or "Surviving Mars" so those must've been even bigger flops than Imperator: Rome.
3. I was expecting Victoria II to have a larger playerbase, tbh.
4. I've never seen anyone here talk about Cities: Skylines at all. Ever. So seeing it so high up there, usurping EUIV, Stellaris, and HOI4 so many times was surprising.
5. Is EUIV that good?
6. Is HOI4 that good?
7. Is Cities: Skylines that good?
8. Is Stellaris that good?

Battletech , Cities Skylines and Surviving Mars are all Paradox published, not developed, so that's probably why you've not heard of them.

2: I've never played Battletech, but I played Surviving Mars over a few free weekends, and I think it's fiercely mediocre. Maybe it's better with some of the expansions, but I'm not going to give them credit for that.
3: Vicky is old and not that similar to the current Paradox games, at least not anymore.

Surviving Mars is pretty fun. Recommend it if you like survival/management city builders and want something a bit less stressful than, say, Frostpunk.

And I don't think it's surprising at all that Cities: Skylines is so popular. It has a much wider appeal than most PDox games and is currently the only big modern-themed SimCity-like.

You have to control, like, just about every Slavic kingdom. You’re rewarded with a huge empire title and a bloodline if you have Holy Fury.

Battletech was great, i had a lot of fun with that game, and from what i know was not a flop. Also for some reason they didnt show DLC for it, surviving mars or Cities Skylines in the video.

Just because you personally have not heard of something does not mean its a flop.

And then I started to murder everyone in my dynasty that became the heir that didn’t have the bloodline — I never played like this before, but I only saw the fun now. I only stopped on feudalizing and changing succession law.

Intrigue focus is the way to go — you can’t change my mind.

Random question. How much population is one "pop" supposed to represent? I mean, I realize they're more along the lines of "Classifications" and a Worker pop and a Noble pop [to use the Stellaris classifications] aren't supposed to represent the same "number" or people but like, how do you justify it if you roleplay in a PDX game?

I mean, there's a few of us who do play Cities: Skylines, but its not half as memetastic as Stellaris, CKII, etc., so I guess the few times it gets posted about just get glossed over, so nobody talks about it.
