But Braliaaaaaa, I have a joooooob. I haven't been doing a ton of gaming recently, let alone Paradox gaming, let alone NEW Paradox gaming. I have two CK2 games going, one going for the Norse -> English Christian achievement and one in After the End as the Yankee kingdom of New England, but both of them I only touch sporadically. Maybe I'll drop some screenshots from the AtE game next time I crack it open.

Was it worth fighting a huge war with tens of thousands dead and millions of pounds lost just for my sphereling to annex an extremely minor North German state?

That probably means a hard stop on the NGF and Germany ever forming, so definitely worth it.

I love sliders. I missed them when EUIV came out. I also kinda hope the old national ideas system returns as well.

Frankly, Germany had no chance even before the war started. They would have to singlehandedly (literally, Germany has no allies outside of their sphere) take Alsace-Lorraine and Holstein from #2 and #4, and Upper Silesia from #6 (allied with #1). And I'm not seeing any pan-nationalist uprisings.
Prussia is still really strong though. After the peace treaty they nearly doubled their antebellum military score. Their economy is strong. I thought they'd be a laughingstock by now, but the other GPs don't want to risk poking them.
And now I can't either. They're too big for me to challenge alone. France didn't join this war, so would they join the next?

Not seen: China's completely split up with the Anhui Clique on top as a low-GP/high-SP.
The Confederates reached from sea to shining sea and finally attained GP status but that spot is competitive. Their rival Free States and Mexico really threaten them. No matter what happens, North America will never be relevant to the rest of the world except as a source for cotton.
Most of west and central Africa is mine. The UK took all the other good stuff and have done nothing else. Vicky's conquered more of S.E. Asia than she usually does and that's it.

Making your pops in Stellaris cybernetic or synthetic is no longer an all or nothing process anymore. People can, unless actively coerced, opt out.

We have seen how much DLC Paradox pumped out for EUIV. Needless to say, after the last few HOI4 and Stellaris DLC I am afraid of how bad the DLC output and price will be for EUV.

Are there any mods that change TNO's UI? I cant stand that black and cyan colour scheme, its why i could never get into the mod myself.

not that i know of. the good news is it's not nearly as eye-searing anymore.

i remember there being a few mods that change its color, but in all likelihood they're probably outdated.

Maybe ill redownload TNO and give it a try again and see if i can play it without the UI bothering me.

Put simply . . . that's because it is Avalon. IIRC, in EUIV, if you colonize that location, the province gets renamed to that if you're playing as someone from the British Isles.

I feel like in the After The End there should be even more wasteland in the northern parts of North America, especially going inlands away from the coast,but I guess that'd be unfair or something.
Then again "habitable" inland provinces hug major bodies of water
