I:R wasn't a perfect game by any means, and wasn't a game I frequently went back to, but I still enjoyed it when I played it. Sad to see it potentially getting dropped into the bin and forgotten about

tbh it’s an understandable move. If they don’t put out content, they risk disappointing customers. If they put out content that’s so far below their usual standards as to be laughable, they risk blowing their reputation as a reliable company. Paradox is infamous for putting stuff out half-finished and then beta testing with their actual customers, and their fans seem pretty okay with that, but Leviathan... Leviathan is really something else.

Putting out the EU4 house fire takes a higher priority to putting out new content to a game that’s already very solid.

As I said earlier, though, I hope there’s an EU5 coming up soon because it’s clear that EU4 is no longer even remotely manageable for the dev team.

The robot empire keeps attacking me and i keep kicking the bolts out of them.

Dont know what their plan is as their navy is seemingly tiny compared to mine and offers no real threat. Ive taken about 7-8 systems off of them so i think im gona build up an army for the next war as im striking distance of some of their planets now. So i can knock them out easily enough with an invasion or two.

I'm trying myself to be intentionally disappointed with this, but I couldn't. Primarily because I get the impression they left Imperator in a stable and enjoyable state for players to binge their time with. That can't be bad, right?

Features are plain broken, very poorly balanced, still have placeholder art/UI, or all three.

And that goes for some previous features that worked perfectly well before 1.31, too.

The hotfix has dealt with most of the glaring issues and the next update seems like it will address many of the others. The DLC and patch themselves are lacklustre but it's pretty obvious that this should have been delayed a few weeks. Majapahit was stuck in a crisis if you didn't own a DLC, Native Americans would colonise the entire continent it felt like before Columbus even arrived, the development system seemingly would break itself apart if you looked at it funny, the whole monument system seemed to be completely arbitrary and make no sense, and you couldn't take and core territories in Polynesia before they expired.

I really like CK3's ability to create your own heresy but I feel like it doesn't live up to it's full potential. Most of the options for tenants, for example, just alter what traits are consider sins and virtues and thus only really change character stats and opinion modifiers which is kind of lame and it makes those options less viable when compared to ones that give you great holy wars and special events and stuff.

I just wish Insular Christianity was an unreformed faith so I can reform it.

Ireland in-game follows Insular Christianity, which is another name for Celtic Christianity.

It has a few differences from Catholicism, it technically doesnt have a head of faith last i checked and is pluralist as opposed to righteous and has Polygamous marriage etc

Has its own holy sites etc

Howdy fellas fast question: What mods are recommended for CK3?

I found some nice cosmetic mods that can be used in Ironman called "Fair Lords" and "Fair Ladies" which change up a bunch of textures and skin tones. Helps make the characters look a bit better but dont go over the top

And if you want more female options there is a mod called Beautiful Females which does the same thing and changes up textures, features etc I think there is a male version of that one too but im not sure. I also use a few other small mods like "Colourful lifestyle traits" etc just to brighten up the UI a bit.

Im mainly waiting on the Game of thrones overhaul mod, it looks really good soo far from the posts ive seen.

Since when is a mod ever finished? Paradox modders are insane, they won't finish until 5 years after the base game's dead.
