Very great! A Slavic Union led by Russia is one of the most intriguing things I’ve heard

High King Lorcan has finally united Ireland at age 53 in the year 1187 after driving the last of the Scots out of Ulster.

Now to just dick around, built up my stuff, and wait until another crusade pops up.

I think I'm beginning to understand how Catholicism works in CK3. Firstly, if you, the player, are Catholic, fervor tanks like a rock and won't recover. Once the player leaves Catholicism, their fervor will shoot right back up to 100% and the player will be singled out and crusaded until they have an aneurysm.

Also, Norse characters remain absolutely awesome. Every aspiration I had playing playing as Fairhair was met and MORE. I can't believe I actually reformed the faith as him, I didn't even have my mind set on it until I was at least 50 years old. I was able to get everything I wanted out of my new faith and it was much more expensive than I thought it was going to be.

Harald Fairhair is also the character I chose for my second campaign, and basically this. He died with three crowns on his head (Norway, Denmark, and Sweden) after having led the reformation of the Norse religion.

I'm now on... I think my 5th or 6th character for this campaign? Scandinavian Elective is overpowered, but also a bit finicky; I had a bad election at one point which shattered my realm, and I had to spend most of my last character's lifetime putting the pieces back together. To avoid a repetition of the incident I pushed westwards and formed the Empires of Scandinavia and Britannia.

Now I have two consolidated empires with Scandinavian Elective succession (instead of the five kingdoms I had before), which should hopefully lessen the impact of a bad succession.
