I was this close to post it lmao. Final pre-release DD, huh? From the stream, I'm actually more hopeful about this than I've for any other PDX game thus far. Hopefully it will be as fun as the streams make it look like lmao.

I actually think I enjoyed Enter Elysium's vid most of all, for a multitude of reasons:

1. The fact that his video alone is so much longer than anybody else's really allowed for him to accomplish something and not just dick around.
2. His gameplay was fantastic. His goal's not only clear-cut but an actual challenge. No other Youtuber I watched played anybody even remotely challenging (Quill, Pravus, MATN).
3. No particular gimmicks, just played the game about as normally as one would expect, his longer vid allowed us to see what else goes on during the day-to-day moments.
4. Pretty much every Youtuber was expected to be creative and theatrical and imo, he put in the best effort.

I'm sad that I completely forgot to mention him earlier, knowing now that his vid is so damn good, EE deserves so much more than he gets.

The roleplaying is pretty good. Though I believe Hardrada was the "rightful" contender to that war, that "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" in the start really made me laugh

So emperor dlc is pretty cool. Though it’s much harder to change religions as a Catholic nation, especially if you are the catholic defender of the faith.

The HRE expanded options are great. It’s really nice to have a decentralization tree instead of just centralization. The Hussites got some pretty dope buffs but Protestant is still better

Public beta came out yesterday finally crushing the outstanding issues in EUIV.

I once again maintain that allowing the creation of new melting pots as a concept is something that should have been added to CK3. Just merge two cultures' attributes (i.e. the cultural advancements that exist at the time of creation of a new culture), pick up a "dominant culture" to base naming conventions of, and make it something that a person running a realm with foreign culture can pick as a decision. You can already make cadet branches, how hard is it to make up something like "Italo-Norman" or "Anglo-Norse"?

So my genius, brilliant strategist, siege leader, martial 34 daughter and sole heir (current character's grandpappy may have been a bit of a kinslayer, given the other four (all boys) weren't as good as said current daughter) hated my chosen husband for her so much she became fucking celibate.

The good news is it's 1433.
