I have seen play samples of CKIII... It looks like Paradox is not going to break its streak of having terrible 3rd games of serieses.

EU3 and HOI3 were great though.

I do not know much about EUIII. I thought HOIIII and CIVIII sucked, but I guess some of these things are just matters of personal preference.

My favourite memory of HOI3 was deleting all HQ brigades as the USSR, throwing every division into Moscow and spending half an hour reorganising them into corps, armies and army groups of equal numbers, size and specialisation and making new HQ brigades.

HOI3 isn't that bad. It's complex, but once you learn how to play it, it's actually pretty fun. I don't play it very often but when I do, it's a lot of fun to play the USSR.

HOI3 is fun but it definitely takes some powering through to get into. Even if you're already familiar with it, just starting another save can be way more daunting than something like CK2 or Vic2.
