I've been playing Hearts of Iron as Romania last, and I've beaten Turkey, Soviet, a bunch of Balkan countries, and am currently going for Tannu and Mongolia. Wish me luck. Next up, it's the Nazi's turn to get destroyed by hordes and hordes upon vampire soldiers as artillery pound from afar, bringing despair and causing destruction never seen before in its wake. *Evil laugh intensifies*

I don't think I've faced them in earlier playthroughs. Are we talking PRC tough or tougher?

No. I had a string of bad luck that began with all of my male heirs getting killed. A revolution pushed the Queen out of power and that was game over.

Had you ever tried executing the nearest clergyman? It always seems to work for me. Just lop off enough bishops' heads and problems seem to sort themselves out.

Actually incredibly easy. If you don't count the scripted ACW as a revolt, America can literally just sit down and do the historical thing of minimal expansion and have absolutely no problems whatsoever.

I mean compared to the United 'Conquer 1/3rd of the world' Kingdom parts of Mexico and some stuff in the Pacific is going to be minimal. Still, that was a lot of land.
