Hey i just noticed i got the new title!

Throwback to that time I was simultaneously the Emperor of thr Outremer and the Latin Empire, making me the deus vultiest Emperor ever.

In my current Indian run, my last character held the Emperor titles for Five empires. India, Persia, Arabia, Abyssinia and Nubia. I ended up having her throw away the title of Nubia because i was not sending armies down there to deal with the revolts, then the bugger i made emperor inherited Abyssinia.

Every time I unite India and invade the west I make as many empire titles as possible and set them all to gavelkind so when I die I end up with my own Diadochi.

Also a thing i noticed is that sometimes some of the realms bordering me just flipped to Hinduism at times. The Mongol Empire even went Hindu once which was really cool, under Ogadei i think it was.

And a crusader kingdom in Greece that was carved out of the Byzantine Empire went Hindu, then was ruled under a Berber queen so it is now a Hindu Sultanate, which was... cool.

Obviously you conquer the entire world, create every imperial title, and THEN switch to gavelkind. Everybody knows this.

Be a Shia or Sunni in Sicily, because then they will leave you the fuck alone. They have no problem with Muhammedan raiders. It's people that pray to the single-barred cross they have a problem with.

No offense, but I like the big-ish purple blob that keeps the Muslims at bay, thank you very much. It looks nice. And it pushes back the bordegore pretty well. I'd rather a civil war-ridden mess of an heir to Rome than the squabbling fiefs that burst out of its innards after the 4th Crusade.

And now for some 'funny' CK2 annectodes.

-As it turns out, staging a revolt in one of those one province merchant republics (Venice, Amalfi, etc.) as any of the patricians currently not in office will game over you, as you will become landless as your family house doesn't count as a title. Frankly kinda stupid, TBH.

-Jews have some eccentric business practices. If you have a bloodline that enables good relations with our favorite Abrahamic merchants, borrowing money from them will, instead of owing you 350 as usual, they(the Jews)'ll instead be entitled to 300 in return, the same amout you borrowed from them in the first place. If I know my coin correctly, then that's not how you nake money with loans. I dunno, maybe the discount is just something they give you in exchange for not giving them the boot whenever you please.

-Sainthood can be finnicky. If playing as a non-Catholic character, the saints tab will usually have 1-3 characters listed under them. Usually they'll either be pious player characters or some NPC monks in Monastic Societies. As a Catholic, sainthood is applied rather liberally. Not only does the number of player saints spike tremendously, but the number of saints in general increases. From 5 at most in non-Catholic denominations to upwards of up to 15. Like geez, what the heck? Now I know that Catholics are more conducive to sainthood according to the game's code, but this is another level. Oh, and don't even get me started on reformed paganism with Temporal and Ancestor Veneration. If you blob hard enough, people'll come to you and ask for the veneration of one of their ancestors regularly. And since saying yes grants a +100 opinion bonus, well let's just say we venerate a lot of people in Scandinavia.

EDIT: you guys have any advide for changing vassal obligation laws? That might be why I tend to lag behind in terms of troop count in CK2.
