I just got The Passionate Speech event again, and normally I would tell the Pope to knock that shit off, but the Byzantines have been colossal assholes to me for nearly 200 years, so I might just let it happen this time. The Muslims have been basically deleted from the game so I don't have to worry about the Byzantine collapse spelling the end of Christianity in the east. I hope to drink out of Basileus Laurentios' skull by Christmas.

Wait no my lands directly border the Byzzies, if we go to war my doorstep will be literally their first stop. We'd still probably win, but I don't want Basileus Laurentios to be drinking out of my skull before that happens.

Comrades

It is time for Yet Another Communist Germany run in Darkest Hour

I will avenge my fallen brothers

Here are my plans for this run:

  1. Secure the keys.
  2. Ascend from darkness.
  3. Rain fire.
  4. Unleash the horde.
  5. Skewer the winged beast.
  6. Wield a fist of iron.
  7. Raise Hell.
  8. Freedom.
The details of the above post are subject to leftist infighting.

I officially endorse Fivey Fox for president of the United States.

Is there a Necron mod for Stellaris or at least portraits? I want to make some extermination machines but also have that awesome aesthetic.

There is a mod called "Hail the Machine" that adds in necron ships, but i think its just for the contingency

I rolled a galaxy with an absolutely ridiculous amount of Materialists in it. I feel like this a prelude to Stellaris fucking me in the ass, because I have been planning to do a Fanatic Materialist/Mechanist run after my current one (wanted to see On the Shoulders of Giants first) because this galaxy would have been absolutely PERFECT for them. Knowing this game, I'm never going to see a Materialist ever again after this.

I have a question about HOI4. You know how each DLC that comes out is basically broken and than they use input from people playing to pile patches on until it becomes functional? No problem with that on my end. No better way to do it sadly. But my question is has the new DLC settled already? Or should I hold off for a while yet for the first official non beta patch?
Purpelia does not reflect my actual world views. In fact, the vast majority of Purpelian cannon is meant to shock and thus deliberately insane. I just like playing with the idea of a country of madmen utterly convinced that everyone else are the barbarians. So play along or not but don't ever think it's for real.

The above post contains hyperbole, metaphoric language, embellishment and exaggeration. It may also include badly translated figures of speech and misused idioms. Analyze accordingly.

The trigger event for the Fourth Crusade. Basically, a merchant republic (almost always Venice) changes the crusade target to the Byzantine Empire, and if you win the empire is destroyed and divided into a fuckload of kingdom and duchy tier realms + the Latin Empire of Constantinople which gets a new bloodline.

IMO the Fourth Crusade event shouldn't really be restricted to Byzantium. Judging by how the events say the ordeal goes down (Claimant gets backing of MR to convince crusaders that the Holy Land is in Constantinople), it should really be allowed to fire against any powerful enough christian realm. There's no reason that the claimant wouldn't be one to the Holy Roman Empire, England, Hispania, et cetera, or even an antipope seeking to claim Rome. Though maybe not the last one. As for consequences, since Catholics can potentially stride into Catholic castles and burn down Catholic temples, I'd say a -5 moral authority for Fourth Crusading.

Well, the above is my opinion, so if you find reason for it to be untrue, feel free to respond.

In my current Indian run, my last character held the Emperor titles for Five empires. India, Persia, Arabia, Abyssinia and Nubia. I ended up having her throw away the title of Nubia because i was not sending armies down there to deal with the revolts, then the bugger i made emperor inherited Abyssinia.
