anyways, here's mine:

The top few in mine, are quite vague, widely-encompassing genres. Alternative Rock would probaly be me actual favourite genre.

Progressive metal, gothic metal, djent, symphonic power metal, german metal, and doom metal

Surprised black metal and death metal didn't make it on, but the top result only had 14% so there you go. I know Spotify has a lot of metal microgenres so that probably diluted everything. Neat little gadget, the playlist it generated gave me a couple of albums too.

My top genre: "Rock" (not really rock though), ambient, dance/electronic

Apparently Comic and Pop are my top genres? Immediately followed by Power Metal, Steampunk, Anime Trance, and "Scorecore", whatever that is; I assumed symphonic stuff.

My top track is "Rather Be", and my top artist is Adrian Von Zeigler. Neato.

I thought permanent wave was something you did to your hair.

I don't use Spotify but I'm pretty sure boom-bap, horrorcore and grindcore would be at the top.

I think that to claim that pop is a genre is a bit too broad, because it comes in lots of styles, from Alternative Rock to French House (yes, Daft Punk made it to the charts in the UK).

I just wish that Spotify and Apple Music could be more specific about the genres of songs: for example, I put Sinitta’s Toy Boy under R&B Soul/Disco, whereas Apple puts it under Pop.

Yeah it baffles me too, but that's what it is apparently is. I couldn't get much else information but I'll have another look.
