I would even take a new regiment completely if they dont bring back some of the older ones. Hell even do a mass update of the Cadians and Catachans and i would be happy.

Without looking said faces up, I assume most of them are forever fixed in mid-scream. You know, like all those old Imperial Guards sourcebooks saturated with artwork where every single soldier about to kill & die for the God-Emperor is shouting all the profanities while he (or she, but the pictures mainly featured angry men with guns) still can.

Well... some of them are fixed mid scream.

Some female heads/minis would be a welcome addition to the guard. I don't mind the current Cadians, but yeah the Catachans could use some love.

I think the guard are the perfect army for more female models. They should do something similar to the Stormcast kits where one or two of them are women. Not just female guardsmen heads but proper female bodies as the new upgrade sprue has some female heads but its still on male proportioned bodies.

Neglecting the sheer badassery that is the Death Korps of Krieg immediately invalidates your take.

How so? They are the only faction that doesn't seem to be falling apart at the seams aside from Chaos and the Tyranids.

The Orks aren't really a cohesive faction, they just all have roughly the same goal and that goal is straightforward. To fall apart, you need complicated internal politics, and given that they're as likely to fight each other as anyone else when they don't have a clear target, I'd hesitate to say they were ever in a state of not falling apart. I like Orks and I like their simplicity, but they're less of a faction and more a biological weapon.

You’re just confused on what the objective for the Kriegers was. 60% casualties is the ”mission accomplished” part of the statement, they just also captured the hill while accomplishing that.

OK so wanting to build a reasonably lore-accurate Imperial Fists company but the Lexicanum article is a bit bare on what the Order of Battle for that is. Like what the mix of Regular and Heavy Intercessor squads the "6 Battleline Squads" component is and so on.
