It's all about using several thin layers when painting your miniatures, that way you get better result. If you slap on a thick layer of paint, you get blobs instead of scowling supersoldiers fighting endless wars in the grim darkness of the far future.

Here is the full Cathay roster for Warhammer III Total War with some more concept art which could serve as an indication for what Cathayan models for the Old World game might look like.

I really like Miao Ying's design, if they make a model of her, say similar to Morathi with her human form and Dragon form i would absolutely buy it for a display piece.

Thanks. I’m really happy I took the time to do the scales one of my favourite parts of the mini along with the base.

Honestly all the creativity and passion seems to have went into AoS designs. They just look soo much more interesting now compared to all the recent 40k announcements, even stuff i thought looked cool.

These will naturally be bigger models and 100% engineered to be so out of proportion that you wouldn't think of using third party bits to upgrade them.

Well if the leaks are anything to go by, and many of them have come true, the Imperial Guard are getting a new tank and a new type of storm troopers (supposedly "Cadian Veterans") next year. Its not much but something at least.

All the ones below in red have been officially revealed/confirmed.

So this is all the supposed leaks that have been posted on Bolter and Chainsword, and ive seen some of these talked about by a youtuber called Chapter Master Valrak who has had stuff leaked to him in the past by someone in GW that turned out to be true such as Plastic Death Korps, Ork Kommandos, new Black Templars etc

As well as the Black Templar models revealed today, though some of those are still to be confirmed such as grimaldus etc. I marked the ones confirmed in red and ill probably update it as more stuff comes out.

So.... Eldar fans might be in for a good time in the near future.

It is rather nice of Games Workshop to give the Imperial Guard players that stuff, normally you have to pay for it.

As for the veterans, I'm betting it's an upgrade spruce for the normal squad to give you some more customization options.

What I want is for GW to bring back the other regiments. It could easily be done with just a squad pack with different bodies and some extra spruce to make em look different.

As for the veterans, I'm betting it's an upgrade spruce for the normal squad to give you some more customization options.

What I want is for GW to bring back the other regiments. It could easily be done with just a squad pack with different bodies and some extra spruce to make em look different.

I would even take a new regiment completely if they dont bring back some of the older ones. Hell even do a mass update of the Cadians and Catachans and i would be happy.

Without looking said faces up, I assume most of them are forever fixed in mid-scream. You know, like all those old Imperial Guards sourcebooks saturated with artwork where every single soldier about to kill & die for the God-Emperor is shouting all the profanities while he (or she, but the pictures mainly featured angry men with guns) still can.
