Yes. It's also all but stated that Cawl has made Astartes from Traitor and Lost Legion geneseed so your dudes can literally be anything nowadays.

At long last! He looks amazing.

I rather liked him being smaller than regular Daemon Princes, but it was not how he was supposed to be. He was designed to be massive, and back when he first came out, he was. Now he is again.

And this confirms he is in Warhammer III

A youtuber i watch called Kirioth did a video about this new Belakor model and mentioned how there seems to be a trend for dead space marines on bases on the GW site to be painted as lieutenants. If its true i guess GW is just playing up to the joke about the stupid number of lieutenant models there are.

So I was just reading this month's white dwarf and noticed that one of the throw away imperial guard commanders in their campaign was called colonel Broski.

That's right, Colonel Broski is now official canon in the 40k universe.

.... she dies though. ;-;

EDIT: While on the subject of the magazine, it briefly touched on an idea that we actually see briefly touched on many, many times but then is never dwelt on. so now I'm curious- how the hell does a Chaos-run hive work? Like, they aren't making them ghost towns because we have many stories where the chaos cults are living in them and defending them from the Imperium's armies. And they clearly aren't running them terribly all the time either, considering how often chaos hives hold out for months or years under siege. But.... how? What does that look like? How does it work?

Is it the same as an Imperium one, except that the bartender's a demon and the PSAs are just heretical chants in a forbidden language? Do people just go to work in cars that scream instead of making engine noises? Do lampposts occasionally lean on people and tell them about how big a fan of their DeviantArt they are? Or are they some kind of warpfuckery batshit where all the manufacturing is done by ghosts while the 20 cultists who survived the invasion and their Word Bearer bro live it large in the biggest mansion?

... Are hospitals banned in hives that the Death Guard conquer?

I just gotta know at this point. There's so much potential for storytelling here that's never covered yet frequently hinted at.

IIRC the occupied planet that the Ghosts infiltrate gives the clearest picture of what a chaos planet is like. For the lowest rung masses its not functionally worse, yeah the random murder is more frequent and sadistic but you actually have some means of advancement if you are pathological enough.
In the higher rungs its generally a lot more shit but you have functionally gone mad from everything you see being "wrong" so you don't care. At the highest levels again everything is pretty much the same, you absolutely know you are damned but revell in it and can accept the odd mutation as the price of doing business.
In the first years of occupation it will be utter hell but within a generation nobody bar those at the top will recall anything of the imperium and they will just be accepting chaos as normality.

Yeah, this sucks. Take it off an easily accessible source where even people who don't watch 40K could find it, bury it on their community site, I'm pretty sure they edited some scenes and changed some sound effects, and completely screw over his Patreon donors. What a Goddamn sellout. He's lost my viewership.

Good for them! They were treading a fine line, so I am very glad to see Games Workshop not choosing the 'sue first' approach, which legitimate or not would still have caused them severe damage, because Youtube has for a while been structured to help big companies crush independent content creators. Given what the creator of Astartes was able to achieve (mostly) alone and relying on crowdfunding, I am optimistic of what they might achieve with more resources.

Since the Death Korps Kriegers are clinically depressed by default, it is clear that these soldiers have been corrupted by the Ruinous Powers. Given the sensual gyrations made by the lasciviously dancing Death Korps Krieger, I suspect Slaanesh. Not that it matters, of course. The order for exterminatus has already been sent.

Good thinking, but don't worry. They were only celebrating being told to charge another heretic bunker- oh, the planet's already exterminatussed.... aw, shame, I liked that planet.

Good luck!

I recently had reason to get out a lot of my miniatures, so I decided to take the opportunity to update the image of my Medusa V Defenders army:

Image

It is my 2nd largest army (by points), and possibly my longest running one. It is comprised of:
One full Company (plus detachments) of the Vostroyan 169th Armoured Regiment
A Demicompany from the Space Mammoths 1st Company
Several squads of Vostroyan 5th, led by the overall commander Lord Marshal Graf Harazahn
Various other imperial forces.

The lore is that they are the victorious Imperial forces who chose to remain behind to allow civilians to be evacuated from the planet before it was struck by the Warp Storm of Van Grothe's Rapidity. I have been building it a little at a time since the Medusa V campaign in 2006 - the most recent additions were the Space Mammoths I finished last year.

Heh, it gets worse. As I said, this is my 2nd largest army. To list my armies by size:
1. Tomb Kings
2. Vostroyans
3. Orcs and Goblins
4. Warriors of Chaos
5. Dark Elves - Skaven
7. Space Marines - Orks

Of course it is not quite the same, given that my Vostroyan army is primarily tanks which are still being sold, but 'officially' that list becomes 1-2 Discontinued and 3-5 Rebranded. I have not added anything to any of my Fantasy armies since Age of Sigmar came out - the only Age of Sigmar miniatures I have purchased (except for converting Warhammer 40,000 miniatures, such as the ghosts carrying my Ghostkeel's Stealth Drones) are those few Idoneth I was showing recently.

I've got an idea for an Ork army that I'm determined to make a reality when I finally get a new job. Granted I don't know how to paint, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Orks are quite forgiving when it comes to paint jobs. Their armour, weapons and vehicles are ramshackle already, and their skin works well with washes. They do have some finnicky little details though.
