Bit of a random question but does anyone have a 2nd edition imperial guard codex lying around? If so could you look through it and see if there are any cadian colour schemes in it? And if there is could you take some photos and post them here for me. I know my brother has a copy, or at least he used to but i have no idea where it might be.

I came across one of my brothers old 90s cadian models, its a bit damaged but easily salvageable and only has a layer of thin blue paint over it. So was thinking of doing it up in an oldschool colour scheme and basing it for him as a christmas present.

Actually i might go for the 122nd cadian scheme as it looks really nice.

Specifically i might try and replicate this version of their scheme from the city fight codex cover:

My Demolishers are a fair few editions old at this point, when they had to fire everything at one target and could not fire all of their weapons while moving, so two of them just have the prow Heavy Bolter while the third has a Lascannon and two Multi-Meltas.

I made my leman russ a... well... a basic leman russ i guess..

Regular bog standard cannon, two heavy bolters for the sides and a lascannon in the centre.

I've got a demolisher from 3rd edition when I was like 8 that has lascannon and heavy flamers, because I had no clue how to play the game.

do you happen to have an archive of more codices? My friend is in need of ones that provide info on vehicles but not Ork ones.

To be honest, I got rid of most of my old digital copies. I have no idea why I had the 2nd edition Imperial Guard Codex.

I glued it all together bar the turret, and my brother actually printed me off a vanquisher turret with a longer barrel so i guess i can swap it back and forth between those two types if i want.
