Well i say "little" but its actually a giant horrifying space spider robot

Cool, the Eldar could use more stuff. I was watching Kirioths range reviews recently and boy some of their models are old as fuck

I think GW is going to push the Ynnari angle more. That way, they can sell Dark Eldar stuff to Craftworld players, and Craftworld stuff to Dark Eldar players.

Wow, my army has jumped in points from around 2,940 with almost bare-bones gear to just over 3,000. The only realistic way for me to get it down to 3,000 without drastically changing the army would be to swap out the Captain's Relic Blade for a Power Sword and making it a Chapter Relic. The Burning Blade does not quite work visually, but the Scimitar of the Great Khan would. However, as a White Scars successor, I would have to spend 1 Command Point to get an extra Relic (I have to use one to give my Apothecary pseudo-Terminator Armour) and another for the privilege of taking that relic from the White Scars list.
I do strongly dislike Command Points, so I am sorely tempted to throw as many of them as I can away on things like giving all of my characters Relics and/or Warlord Traits anyway. Then again, I have heard some silliness about core turn sequence things like Overwatch being tied to them, so perhaps that would be even more unwise than I can allow for.

Just in case anyone is remotely interested, here is the Apothecary mentioned above along with my Company Standard Bearer:

I think my emotional state may have impressed itself upon the Apothecary. Part of my Chapter's lore is that the tusks on their helmets reflect what part of their homeworld they are from (specifically, what species of not-really-a-Mammoth is native to that area). Odrest is from a remote tribe near where a Daemonic incursion assailed the planet millennia ago, and it... shows.

While painting it, I remembered a key rule of painting white - use careful recess shades, not full washes! I really wish I had remembered before painting a colour scheme including white arms on 40 Terminators and 2 Dreadnoughts...

I'm not sure, actually.

The 'Rumour Engine' picture with the bladed hair is definitely her, but this miniature seems to have some sort of flail weapon in her right hand (as opposed to Lelith's go-to weapons). At least two of the models teased appear to be 'lieutenants' for their factions (the Sister of Battle and the Skitarii), I suspect this one'll be the same but for Wych Cults.

Has anyone already tried out the 500/1000 points missions?
I find them vastly more intriguing than the 2000 points format, as they seem to fix most things I don't like about 40k.

- smaller points number leads to skirmish-sized armies, with a leader, a couple of squads and one, maybe two tanks/big monsters as centerpieces, rather than "thematic armies" consisting of min-maxing broken units (like five Greater Daemons, or five Ancient Dreadnoughts and the like)
- reduced amount of CP automatically leads to less stratagem usage
- mono-army detachment means less or no soup
- reduced table size makes games at home possible
- games can be finished in one to two hours

If I start to regularly play 40k again, I reckon I won't go beyond 1000 points games.

They do look promising. I think that even when I finish my Space Mammoths, I will be more inclined to use my Tau. The Mammoths, being a 1st Company army, do not really work in small games.

Primaris and Deathguard Easy to Build sets are now flagged as last chance on the GW store

x3 Intercessors
x3 Aggressors
x3 Reivers
x1 Redemptor Dreadnought
Lord Felthius and Cohort
x3 Plague Marines

Saw some speculation they might go down the AOS route and just make some new easy to build starter kits for those factions.

Ive also assembled my SM side of the Indomitus box, few fidgety bits on the bikes, but for the most part everything was quite easy to put together. I also converted my Judicar and gave him one of the Captain helmets as the Judicar helmet just remains weird to me.

Since the Indomitus box is out Its time to wait for a well painted Skorpekh Lord to go on sale for cheap.

So my brother is moving out soon, and most of the 40k sets we got over the last few years we split between us, taking an army each, but he has decided he will leave all of his miniatures here with mine so that i can take them.

Which means i am going to have all of the following:

Indomitus box
Dark Imperium
Shadowspear
The full conquest magazine series

Ill not only have my own Imperial Guard army and all the Space Marines, ill now have a fuck ton of chaos marines, deathguard and some necrons. Most of my brothers stuff is unpainted. This is my life now, i am going to drown in plastic.

if someone sold you that while advertising a real quality product you reserve the right to go to their house, break their windows, and call down a wicked thunderstorm

Given how a picture was provided of the "pro painted" miniature, you would have only yourself to blame, followed by blaming yourself a bit more. So much guilt.
