No reason why you shouldn't. SoBs fit in just well as any other imperial soup ingredient fluff wise.

The guard could have been called up to defend a cardinal world, the sisters could have been sent to bolster a push or they are both part of a crusade of faith some cardinal has dreamed up.

IIRC the sisters are the most inspiring of the allied forces the guard could end up working with.

Well he only had to sit on the throne in 30k because Magnus (primarch of the thousand sons) accidentally fucked up Earth's wards against the warp when he tried to warn him of Horus' rebellion, and if the emperor got off of the throne it could lead to a demonic invasion. Before that he was up and about and doing stuff in the great crusade.

Now in 40k the golden throne acts not only as his life support but also to stop demons from invading Terra on mass. Also his physical body has rotted to the point he is a skeleton now so doubt he could getup if he wanted to without some serious regeneration.

Hence the corpse emperor, then? Although, wouldn't it be likely if he's perpetual? Primarchs inherited aspects of the Emperor. Given what happened to Primarch of the Salamanders...

He might be a perpetual but also at this rate if he gets off the chair Terra gets fucked. No one else can replace him at this stage.

One of the biggest fan theories ive seen is that if the Emperor is a perpetual, if he should ever die or come off of the golden throne he will regenerate somewhere else. Though you lose Terra doing that and a lot of the Imperium no doubt gets fucked up in the process.

Like Horus wiped Ollanius Pius from existence despite being a perpetual he most likely stabbed the perpetuality out of the Emperor, that or the Imperium would be long dead by the time the Emperor finished rising again.

Basically they were throwing a lot of very 80s things against the wall and seeing what stuck.
The universe evolved a lot between the launch of RT and the basis of the current grimdark being solidified in 2nd edt. A lot of the lore development actually happened in epic.

Obviously the Silent King can't come back, there is only enough space for one galaxy spanning empire headed up by a skeletal being, and humans were here first. Any evidence to the contrary is heresy, and you should report yourself to the nearest Commisar for thinking about it.

The King of the Necrons when they were still flesh. He made the deal with the C'tan, he led the necrons in taking then down later, he ordered the necrons to slumber, and then he went to explore the void for 20 million years. While there he ran into the Tyranids and decided to come back and wake the necrons up, because it's hard to make new bodies if the tyrants eat all the candidates.

Also apparently he met Sanguinius at one point according to some other Necrons who told the Blood Angels, dont know if thats true or not though.

Applicable to most of the fanbase since all the lore channels and a good bit of the Necron reading material is all about the Necrontyr which I grow tired of, it makes for a good story but when I click on a Necron lore video I want to learn about the Necrons, their structure, war forms, the destroyers and flayers, the unusual technology, not the Necrontyr story for the 15th time
