My goodness, speaking of anime-inspired hairstyles, those new vampires... One of them looks to be drawing inspiration from Vegeta, and the other from half of the female characters in the medium.
That brings up the question, does the hair of vampires still grow?
Also, on the topic of anime inspiration, we have a horned fox-tailed spirit with impractical clothes and wind powers. It looks wonderfully silly, I am a fan.

Then we have yet another baby-carrier (fortunately one with half-decent armour for the pilot, even if they are Lex-Luthoring it).

Oh, and yet more Primaris, but at this point those complaints have gone stale. The Necron looks great though.

The new Titan mostly looks like a bulkier Warlord. I kind of like that. I would have loved an Imperator, but I think those things are a little too big to sensibly make into a miniature.

I'd say it probably depends on who they are fighting, what weapons they are using and who is in command/would notice.

If its a random run of the mill rebellion with no chaos influence etc using standard imperial weapons or home made, probably not too much of an issue.

However if its like a chaos cult or something, or if the weapons look sufficiently chaos-y it would probably not be tolerated or allowed by most.

Alien weapons probably the same situation unless a commander realises it was a desperate situation and lets it slide.

I can see picking up something that has the taint of chaos on be a no no which makes me wonder how would you clean up a battlefield of those weapons,

The Adeptus Mechanicus gets really nervous when humans start using alien technology, especially when its more efficiently designed and remarkably affordable. You know, like Tau gear.

The problem with the question is that it assumes consistency. You could very easily have a guardsman, in the middle of combat, pick up a rifle with an eight point star, use it, and chuck it after combat and see no punishment. If that same guardsmen picks up thay same rifle and the commissar sees? Well, nothing might happen, or he'll take a bolt to the dome for losing his weapon/letting it jam/whatever, or he'll take a bolt to the dome for interacting with it. Same goes with Alien stuff.

The AdMech reverse-engineered at least one piece of xenos tech in canon; the reason the Tau rolled out the XV25 Stealthsuit was because the Imperium managed to capture and replicate some XV15 helmets, for instance.

Picking up traitor weapons happens fairly frequently across the Gaunts Ghost series and iirc features in honor bound (although in that case the traitors/cultists were using stolen guard weaponry).
I don't see even the most insane commisar blaming troops for using battlefield pick ups in extremis. However if you still have your perfectly good lasgun and have power packs to run it, you are likely to get blammed if you pick up any enemy weapon without a damned good reason.

You are correct, and in the same series when Dalin is in RIP, one of his squad mates lost his rifle and got shot for it. Not a hard stretch to assume same Commissar would drop the same trooper for picking up a traitors weapon.

Chaos cultists tend to use regular gear, but once you have to battle forces straight from the corrupted Chaosphere, you can expect their weapons to be tainted by Chaos as well. So at least use hand sterilizer first before picking up that heretic Space Marine bolt gun with all the funny pulsating bits.

I love the dakka rats so much, its why I only play Skryre, even if they do underwhelm in Warhammer II compared to Warplock Jezzails of all things, I guess the range helps.

Fluff-wise they're my favourite; I even bought their codex just to read it rather than playing WH Fantasy. As for gameplay I normaly do better with Vampire Counts and Norsca. Also it's nice to have a laptop which can finaly play Warhammer II in medium-good graphics. Previously I've been playing Call of Warhammer BotET with my own balance sub-mod.

I still have Call of Warhammer BotET installed, partially because it feels like my brainchild since the sub-mod has fixed a lot of things in custom battle (eg Dark Elf repeater crossbows used to be like submachineguns so you literally didn't need any other unit), and also because IMO the skins are better. For example, in BotET the Chaos Warriors have the same badass half-daemon look as in Mark of Chaos, whereas in Warhammer II they just look like Norsca but with some extra armour.

Other things which BotET has over Warhammer II:
Kislev
Estalia/Tilia units
Chaos Dwarves
Daemons of Chaos
Border Princes
Undead are properly fearless
Chaos horses rather than Chaos ponies.
