Right now I don't have any music on, but the song playing in my head is "Love Bites" (1987) by Def Leppard, off their fourth album Hysteria. It was their only #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, though while a decent song, I think there are others of theirs more deserving of that title, including "Photograph" (1983) and "Hysteria" (1987).

I also voice my strong support for both of these songs. I think there's a lot more to both of them if you listen to them intimately as opposed to out in public.
