Damn

Is that why there’s no One Winged Angel theme?

Most likely.

So I finally got round to giving Ridley a try today (I don't know why, but I just never seemed to think to pick him), and I gotta say, he was quite fun.

Reploid Productions wrote:Basically. Mario Kart 8 got a friend through her doctoral thesis. She'd come over to work on it, and we'd take sanity breaks, play like 5 races, cuss one another out over blue shells and banana peels, and then she'd get back to work. Had Smash been available at the time, I'm sure we'd be cussing one another out of smash balls and hammers. :P Been playing it with my sister, bringing back all the best nostalgia feels. Even when I'm calling her a cheap bitch and she's calling me a cheesy asshole over... well, smash balls and hammers! :lol2:

MarioKart Wii has a lot of good memories for me too. I used to play that all the time.

For me it’s Mario Kart DS. I remember in the 3rd grade my entire class was obsessed with that game. Our teacher (who also happened to be my mom) let us bring our DSes to class to play at recess when it was too cold or rainy for the playground.

My friends and I always played balloon battle and we would play teams mode. In multiplayer, if you die, your kart becomes a ghost that can drop item boxes, so one of us would always die at the beginning and then follow our teammates around so they could have a constant supply of items. And we always won with that strategy.

Of course it helped setting the AI to easy...

Also, update: I’m getting SSBU this week, probably tomorrow! I got money from relatives and have now saved up more than enough to get it and some other games, along with Switch Online!

Out of the newcomers, King K Rool has quickly become one of my new mains along with the redesign of Zelda. Though my mains will always be Lucina, Paluetna, and Duck Hunt.

Took me about two weeks to unlock everyone, and I'm still not done with World of Light yet. Slowly getting through it.

As for potential newcomers, I hope we can see some indie representation. Madeline from Celeste would be a great choice and Shovel Knight deserves a promotion. Anyone from Chrono Trigger (Lucca, Robo, or Ayla would be preferable to another sword fighter) would be quite welcome.

Never enough sword fighters. In fact, I say we bring in 4 more Fire Emblem protagonists. :p

Poor Waluigi, he cannot get any Smash success. I'm guessing Sakurai will never put Waluigi in any Smash game as a fighter.

They’ve done that before. We need to kick it up a notch.

Make Marth’s amiibo it’s own character, then release an amiibo of Marth’s amiibo. Then do it to all of them. Genius!

A Nation States Smash Tournament would be fun.

Even though I'd get decisively crushed in the opening rounds unless against total noobs.

Oh, that would be an awesome Final Smash, but I think a gunner (Lucca) or a brawler (Ayla or Robo) would make for more unique characters. We have enough swordfightes, but I wouldn't put it past Nintendo to pick another Fire Emblem character to promote the new game coming out next year.

Hey, anyone know any way to improve my air game?

Ganon's main way of attacking when he's got a bit of something going on is in the air, considering his air game has been kinda buffed in Ultimate. I can do the Flame Choke to Down Smash/Down Air/Down B/Down Whatever, but my air game is terrible. Any tips?

I second this thought, though it would be hard considering we have little to no clue where everyone may possibly live and we could have some connection issues.
