"First and Last and Always" by Sisters of Mercy has to be my favourite album

But I'd say "Doctor Jeep" [Sisters of Mercy] or "The Mercy Seat" [Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds] would be my favourite song.

It's definitely one of the Ace Combat Strangereal OSTs. I would probably say Ace Combat 5's OST.

Sammy Hagar - VOA (1984)

His last solo album prior to joining Van Halen in 1985; I'd say the first two tracks are the best, but every song on the album is at least acceptable. Lead single "I Can't Drive 55" reached #26 on the Billboard Hot 100; a second, AOR-tinged single "Two Sides of Love" reached #38, also being a top 5 hit on the rock chart.

Probably John Edmond's Troopiesongs, it was the first album I had on tape and is one of those albums that reminds me of home.

That being said, I still stand by that Paul Simon's Graceland is one of the most solid and well put together albums out there.

Low by David Bowie is probably my all-time favourite
We are free to believe that this is the century of authority, a century tending to the right, a Fascist century. If the XIXth century was the century of the individual (liberalism implies individualism) we are free to believe that this is the "collective" century, and therefore the century of the State.

but close behind is genesis - lamb lies down on broadway
echo and the bunnymen- crocodiles
shirley and dolly collins - the sweet primroses

there are a few more but that'll do

live albums are interesting - as there's so few good ones

thin lizzy - live and dngerous
status quo- live

and
genesis - seconds out, isn't bad

"...I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." -MLK Jr.

Revolver. The Beatles at their creative, world-conquering peak and at their most cohesive as a band. Not a bad song in it.

Days of Future Past - the Moody Blues

Even among later-era symphonic-like bands, I've never found another album (not even among the Moody Blues' followup albums) that sounds quite like this one. Front-to-back it's a cross between a concept album and a classical record.

In '87, Huey released this, Fore!, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip to be Square", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should! Because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the band itself!
