There was a Steam console back in the day. Did anyone here get one of those?

They were called Steam Machines.

They were like pre-built pc things that came out in 2015. Apparently they only sold like under 500k and most products for it were discontinued in 2016.

In my opinion, it’s much better with ProMods: the downside that only part of Greece is there, and I've always wanted to deliver goods to Athens and Crete.

So I finished FF7 just now. And now that it's done... I'm not sure how to feel.

I mean, on one hand, I'm glad I finally finished it. It's been on my backlog since December of last year, for crying out loud. At the same time, though... I've played it non-stop for about 4 days in a row now. I have over 40 hours logged, I have some of the best Materia, my characters are all near level 70, I have almost every ultimate weapon (the only ones I'm missing are Cait Sith and Vincent's), I've done the whole Wutai sidequest, I have most of the final limit breaks (the only one I'm missing is Cait Sith's), and I've defeated all the Weapons (Emerald Weapon was a nightmare). I feel kind of empty after completing all that, honestly.

My final party was Barret, Cloud, and Tifa. Ironically, Tifa and Barret kind of switched roles - Tifa went from my red mage to my tank, and Barret went from my tank to my red mage. Cloud was my strongest hitter (Ultima Weapon at level 68 hits like a truck, especially at a full-health Omnislash) and was also my general healer for the group, with an All-Restore combo as well as D-Item for both the duplication exploit and to Phoenix Down and Elixir anyone that got KO'd. Tifa was also a strong physical fighter, and God's Hand with Death Blow is a little busted, doing around 6,000 to 7,000 damage a hit.

Anyway. Yes. Hi. It's my favorite game ever.

So the Beastmen got a rework in Total War Warhammer 2 and they went from being one of the weakest armies to, frankly, a really overpowered. At least the new lord Taurox is. This fucker just rekts shit and nothing has been able to stand in his way.

I do like the new Beastmen mechanics though, the herdstones are fun and help deal with the colonisation merry go round nonsense and the new horde system is vastly superior to the last one with beastmen units being free and having no upkeep but instead having limits on how many of a certain unit you can recruit until you upgrade your hordes using dread.

Yes but most agree that they weren't worth it.

They weren't advertised well, and most people didn't see the point. PC players thought they were too underpowered (They're less powerful than my laptop for example), while console players thought they were too expensive and not user friendly, and there were like 100 different models with different hardware specs.

So yeah, they were destined to fail, tbh.

Vale created a Portable PC that you can play Steam games on. This portable console is called the Steam Deck and the best thing about this is that you can plug it in to a PC monitor and just play games like that.

I think Steam Deck’s biggest competitor will be the humble desktop computer. I say this because with a desktop computer you can upgrade the parts when required.

You can't play a desktop computer on the bus.

Finally saw the E3 footage for the new Halo. Don't care about multiplayer, but the new Cortana is nice, fir some reason all the little facial animations they have her really stood out. I think I'm gonna enjoy it.

Are there any games with gameplay like the Diablo series but with a sci-fi setting? I keep looking for Action-RPGs similar to Diablo but I can't find any with a sci-fi theme.

Yes, you're right: Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr.

I might have to pick it up one day.

Any kind of mobile game is not my cup of tea nowadays. From my perspective: no modding ability, no sale.
