Thank you for telling me this, going to try it right now!
Because sometimes even national leaders just want to hang out

Ill link the article itself but its in French so you will need to translate it
Allegations of sexism, racism, general work place toxicity, and cage himself being a huge cunt but thats been said about him for years from what i remember. But now also litigation with two newspapers over the whole thing and what he is alleged to have said.
Anyway thought it would be interesting to share.

The reveal will take place at 7am Pacific / 10am Eastern / 3pm UK (that's midnight on June 10, AEST).
The first Galactic Republic wrote:I forgot how tonally odd Mass Effect 3’s writing is. One second everyone’s angsting about Reaper genocide, the next Joker’s going on about how EDI has a new robot body so they can bang. One mission there’s hammy jokes and action one-liners, the next there’s Bioware’s attempt at philosophical sci-fi as robots and or squid lecture you on cycles of violence.

I think it's a clash between the dialogue tone and the story tone. The further you get into ME the more they refine their style of dialogue. It's witty, cheesy, and often doesn't take itself too seriously.
Unfortunately this negatively correlates with tone that the story they're trying to tell necessitates.
The further on you get, the better the dialogue gets, but the darker and more serious the story gets

It's a reverse city builder about reclaiming land for nature and I played the original Itch.io version quite a bit a few months back.

There are two ideas that are strong to compel me to go for more playthroughs, though maybe not immediately:
- Superstar, Ultraliberal cop who actually drinks and does drugs on the job. I wanna see what happens when you actually succeed "slipping away undetected", in spite of how awesome failing that check is. And, I've never touched alcohol nor narcotics in my previous playthroughs, I wanna learn how to use them.
- Full chaos build. Inland Empire-focused cop of the Apocalypse. Embrace the necktie. Just try to do all of the most absurd things possible. Kill a certain child, use a molotov cocktail, those kinds of things.
* I just botched the whole vibe of the character, I couldn't keep my "tone" straight. Couldn't keep up the evilness. I'm really bad at roleplaying bad characters.

Killing a certain child ends the game. I believe it's the only thing the game will absolutely not allow you to continue on from doing. I could be wrong, I've never done it myself.

My first playthrough I accidentally became a racist to try and get on Measurehead's good side. It didn't help, because I didn't actually understand his hierarchy of fictional races and associated stereotypes, so I spent some XP on unbecoming a racist.

I really need to get around to playing this game.
