Among GTA characters, Ryder and Big Smoke shouldn’t be left out.

Their betrayal hits worse I think. CJ’s more sympathetic a character than Tommy, he’d known the two since childhood, and their betrayal was indirectly responsible for CJ’s mother’s death.

I still regret

letting Jane convince me to put him down. I mean I knew he was crazy by then and it was gonna go that way eventually, but I hated being tricked into it like that.

Kenny was in a stage of grief, he was just starting to recover from the death of his family and wanted to start new but after the death of Sarita it pushed him absolutely overboard. Jane was really pushing it by constantly putting the blame on Kenny, going as far as provoking him about getting his family killed and then having the nerve to put AJ in danger just to make Kenny snap.

That had to hurt, I honestly felt bad enough for Jane and didn't know if she was being honest about the situation with AJ. I sympathize with that regret. I did allow Kenny to stab Jane, Kenny was a friend from the beginning and had truly good intentions, he really did want what was best for people he was close with.

My favorite ending for that game is where Kenny takes Clementine to the survivor camp that actually exists despite all odds.

He doesn’t die at the end of it and he finally gets to feel like he saved a kid’s life.

The problem is that it was obvious that Lance wasn't loyal and respectful to Tommy when he went after Ricardo behind Tommy's back. At that point it was evidently obvious that Lance was a loose cannon, and Tommy could have either let Lance die in the scrapyard or wasted him during the assault on Ricardo's mansion, and that shit would have been on Lance, not Tommy.

"There goes my careful planning gone to shit! Thanks to you, you screwed up real good, Lance!"

I do feel that up till the point where they killed Diaz, Lance could have been a friend through and through had it not for Tommy constantly putting him down and yelling at him in front of the other goons, i.e. a humiliation. I mean, Vic definitely put him through more of a mud, but I suppose that was a combination of Lance getting it for the first time, and because Vic was his brother that he still loved.

The problem is that Lance did have a tendency to screw up majorly, and I think that even if Lance hadn't betrayed him then Tommy still would have cut Lance loose at some point. And Tommy even says that if the shoe is on the other foot and he ever screws up then Lance can lay into him as much as he likes.

One thing that confused me so much was Lance calling Tommy right after they finished that "Cop Land" mission.

Lance Vance: Tommy, it's me, Lance. Keep your mouth shut there Tommy, 'cause I ain't got time to talk. I ain't interested in what you got to say. Why should I be? You don't care about me, do you? You gotta look after me a bit better. Give me a fair slice, you know... Tommy... oh, look, man, I'm sorry. It's just that... People patronize me all my life, treat me like a little kid. My brother would do that. Please, man, don't do that. I gotta go.

That was a success, having to trigger the explosions after a botched timer. And on that mission, including the cutscenes, Tommy had been nice to him. So why this phone call, other than maybe the obviously "I want a bigger cut." ?

I think that phone call was mainly because Lance was still butthurt about getting shouted at. And when you finish Cop Land that's the point where Tommy's empire has been set in stone: it is a signal to everyone in Vice City not to mess with him, and I think Lance is pissed off because he's still a junior partner in the venture.

EDIT: I really like Kelly and I am glad he wasn't dead - hurt, sure, but not dead. Dude definitely knew something was off with Lance.

I felt like a lot of the secondary characters, such as Kelly and others, could have been developed and interacted with a lot more. But it was a limitation of the technology when the game was made: there was only so much space on the disk, so they couldn't have huge amounts of dialogue and missions. In the current era of huge disk sizes that limitation doesn't apply any more, the sky's the limit as far as the scope of GTA games is concerned, which is why I'm hoping that the next GTA game is set in Vice City, as I think it's a setting that still has a lot of potential for storylines. Plus I want to see Vice City rendered in the most up-to-date game engine that Rockstar is currently using: it'd be gorgeous.

So apparently the PS4's been designed to kill itself in the near future.

If you can't get the C-MOS battery to update on the regular with Sony's PS servers (Let's say, in a situation where Sony shuts down the servers), then the thing stops you from playing any and all games that have trophies (So basically every single game on the PS4 minus demos).

Homebrew team is working on a fix atm, but even they're having extensive issues.

If you can't get the C-MOS battery to update on the regular with Sony's PS servers (Let's say, in a situation where Sony shuts down the servers), then the thing stops you from playing any and all games that have trophies (So basically every single game on the PS4 minus demos).

Homebrew team is working on a fix atm, but even they're having extensive issues.

Makes me glad that I ditched console gaming a long time ago. PC hardware doesn't have the problem of wanting to commit suicide.

That was the ending I got on my playthrough, where Kenny survives and the kids stay at the community, I also agree that it is the best ending. Kenny finally completes his mission to find Wellington, which honestly still has me questioning the whereabouts of Christa. Christa was talking about Wellington in the beginning of season 2 and yet nobody in Wellington knows anything about her. I still wonder whatever happened to Christa after the attack in the woods.

Started playing Deep Rock Galactic recently. Figured out several tips for success.

I think I might finally be bored of GTA V. You can only do these same missions online for all these years before it finally gets old. That and the fucking game takes up over 90 gigs.

How do you put up with the GTA5 playerbase for that long? My friend let me borrow GTA for like a week a few years back and I was attacked by literally every person I came across in the open world mode everytime I was just driving around.

Single player mode was a blast! I'm rarely a fan of shooters but GTA 5 was kind of different from the rest as it wasn't completely focused on combat. The story was actually GOOD, which is the thing I care the most about. That and the cars, so many customization options.

I didn't know GTA online had microtransactions? I'm quite surprised of how many countries banned this game too.

Ok, I'm playing Ori and the Will of the Wisps. It's great.

But there is something that just happened to me that I must tell you.

Because it has been the most disappointing feeling I have ever gotten from playing a video game.

So after the point in the game where things happen with your birb friend. Things that may or may not make you feel feelings. Not disappointment tho we aren't there yet.

So you talk with this big froggo and he be like "Go get the Wisps that are scattered around the world to restore the magic tree." showing you the dungeons they are in.

So, you also go talk to this goron looking engineer guy who builds stuff. He mentions his previous place was destroyed by the lack of the magic tree.

The map location looks to be close to where things happen with birb friend, so I think "Cool, I can just fast travel there and go into the engineer dudes hometown."

After a lot of difficult but doable climbing happens to get to the door of the dungeon the wisp is locked up in.

Feeling proud after along climb and getting loads of extra stuff along the way, I get to the door.

And guess what. The first wisp you get when you talk to the frog the first time comes up and says "You can't enter the dungeon until you get all the other wisps."

After all of the climbing. All of the hard platforming. All of the even harder collecting upgrades and stuff.

There was no point other then getting the upgrades and the warp points.

Holy shit I am so saddened and disappointed.

And at no point was it told to me "You need to get the wisps from A-B-C first, then get the one at D last."

It looked like you could start at any wisp and all wisp dungeons where pinpointed on the map at the same time after something happens with your birb friend.

God, what the fuck is this game design. If you didn't want me to go to that one first, oh I don't know maybe have something blocking the way until you get all three other whisps first? Or just don't put it on the map until after you get all the other whisps? Or even have any line of dialogue saying "Ey mate, go to these whisps first and have that one last."?

Just any sign that you can't get the whisp yet? Anything?
