The big twist for the tall vampire lady is going to be that you learn actually she's normal human height and just likes to live in a small house to feel big and you're actually just really small.

Yeah, as I recall there was a lot of faffing about in that office in Black Flag.

There's a surprising amount of cool stuff to be found in Black Flag's modern day. Throughout the entire Assassin's Creed series, up until that point, I had no strong opinions on Desmond Miles as a character. Then I heard his audio files in Black Flag's modern day. And so I've loved him ever since. And mild spoiler alert, we got more files in Valhalla. The more Nolan North comes back to voice a dead character, the more I like Desmond. Dude could've probably cut loose from AC a long time ago, but he's still coming back.

I feel like people don't even try to explore the modern day segments (when applicable), which is why people view it as a distraction, they don't even know what they're missing out on.

I once heard Desmond described as a load bearing character. I don't hate the modern day segments it's just they're often not done well, and after Desmond died there wasn't a central character to hold those segments together honestly. It's why I like the addition of Layla as a central character again.

Granted with the ending of Valhalla I'm not quite sure how they're going to deal with that going forward. Maybe she didn't actually die, idk

So Mass Effect Legendary Edition they'll edit the cutscenes with Miranda's butt but the third game ending will remain unchanged hum.

Can we just remove Miranda? She was easily the most boring party member in that whole series.

Nah that was Vega for me. Jacob imo was the most boring in ME2 except his loyalty mission which i thought was neat.

My unpopular opinion is that it’s ME1 Liara for me. Also Kaidan in 1.

Like most people I only found out this was even a thing that could happen thanks to GMTK's video on the system. It's super disappointing and yeah, it's probably going to do more harm then good for one of the most creative systems to come out of Triple A gaming in a long while.

I liked Jack in 3 more than in 2 honestly. She was the only person whose loyalty mission i failed when i first played ME2 because i said something wrong to her at the end of it and she got mad, so when she got killed in the suicide mission i was like "lol get fucked"

You remember that loyalty mission on the planet with the poison food that drove everyone crazy? That guy.

Oh yeah, I remember that mission. You get a Heavy Pistol upgrade from that mission, found in an arena where one mech spawn group comes from and get assaulted by another mech group once you reach the other end. Don't remember Jacob though.

About Jacob, i googled him earlier because ive not played Mass Effect in a few years and wanted to make sure i got his name right, and i came across a reddit discussion thread about him being an unlikable character.

And one of the points someone brought up is that he is a stereotype of a black american male in the sense that he:

Has an absent father and can cheat on femshep (If you romance him as a femshep in ME2) by getting another woman pregnant between ME2 and ME3. (Or is it cheating? I cant remember what happens with your romances in the main trilogy, especially between games and if they would still technically be a couple or not at that point)

But i can see why that would be... problematic.
