Many lives have been claimed in Quarry Junction, most from fools who think they can sneak past or fight the deathclaws.
What do you mean most?
Well there was one absolute moron...

Well, according to the Fallout Bible, the talking Deathclaws never reproduced.

It definitely seems that way. It looks as if they just took a bunch of missions/ideas from various other games and just slammed them together without any thoughts about cohesion or story telling.
I mean from that video two back to back story missions are seemingly:
A: Board a super death laser space station in orbit of earth and fight your way through a mix of Wolfenstein and Deadspace inspired levels to kill a Nazi esque Scientist who wants to gas the world and then end it with a dog fight in space between two star fighters.
B: Then You are back on Earth and have to rescue an NCR soldier who was abducted by the Legion after her squad was killed and was used as the personal sex slave of the legion commander and raped repeatedly and is not mentally broken as a result and you try and talk to her about it.
Wat
Is there a mission with tank that look like a Sherman tank?

Yeah in that video i posted there was a mission involving four sherman tanks fighting mad max esque fellas on buggies and stuff. One of them literally yells witness me as he drives a nuke car into a tank.

I mean I get that with most mods that the prior canon in the base game is bent and flexed a bit, some allowance is made for artistic licence, but Frontier completely blasts any semblance of respect for canon out of the water.

Well Fallout Tactics did have a Sherman tank but all other things in it yeah.

The way that Fallout Tactics itself fits into canon is tenuous. The likes of Todd Howard have said that Fallout Tactics absolutely isn't canon, while others have said that only very carefully handpicked elements of it can be incorporated into canon.
Personally, I lean towards classing the things, events, and people of Fallout Tactics as an "alternate universe" type of thing, i.e. something that is coherent in its own little bubble, but only tangentially related to the actual Fallout universe.

FO Tactics is great because you can just assume its canon and nothing in the lore can stop you. BoS airships? Those are canon. All powerful AI? Canon. Robot armies? Canon. Working cars and tanks? Certainly canon. midwest setting? Bethesda hasn't touched it and probably won't. So screw it, its canon to me and Todd can't do jack about it.

Todd Howard isn't canon.
