The game itself is alright I guess. It's got a very breath of the wild exploration with climbing and gliding.
The combat itself is pretty good. Hack and slash with an elemental system. Different elements interact with each other for various effects and damage
4 characters in your party, each having their own class and element that you can instaswitch between for neat combos
Then there's the gatcha system to get the waifus, which is pretty much your bog standard gatcha before it's had enough time to build up all those weird and complex minigames for gaining currency that most gatcha's I've played tend to have.
Obviously that's where the money maker is, which is why its free to play.
The gatcha currency itself can be made in a few non paying ways. Gained from quests, exploration, and achievements. Also cause its new they're handing out a big bunch every day.
Overall, I'd give it a 7/10. Fun enough to keep me entertained for an hour or two, but not enough to get me invested in the grind.
What is a "gatcha"? First time I've heard the word.
I mean, it'd help if I were spelling it right.
Gacha is basically loot boxes for anime girls.
The games are typically designed around the ability to pay some sort of currency for a percentage chance of obtaining a character.
You then use them for whatever flavour of character based gameplay that particular game uses.
For example, in Genshin Impact, gain 10 special currency, use it on a "wish" (loot box) and you have a 80% chance to get a 3* rarity character, a 15% chance to get a 4* rarity character, a 5% chance for a 5*.
Higher rarity, better stats, that you can then add to your party for the hack and slash exploring part of the game
Edit: I probably haven't explained that very well. I'm a pretty shit explainery guy. Here's the wiki article
