The modern narrative toward the vikings is to insanely downplay the blood thirsty raider part though and make a big deal of their other practices to the point of making them look like victims of historical revisionism.

I mean, there's going to be a difference between a company who uses slave labor to create their products for cheap and family run business who pays their workers $20 an hour ( just throwing out a hypothetical ). Though, to clarify, I understand the basis of what you're saying.

No. It would not make you a bad person. But if you want to bite back a bit, buy the game when it's on sale or get a used copy.

The game really, reeeaaaallllyyy wants you to be stealthy, and if you so much as alert a single enemy at the edge of a camp, you can look forward to being ganked by 20+ troops. Bow and arrow is inconsistent as shit, and lack of auto-targetting is a fucking joke when you're trying to fight one enemy, and turn around a hundred and eighty degrees to throw yourself at another instead. It's Sekiro all over again, where genuinely awful combat ruins what's otherwise a beautiful looking game.

How fucking difficult is it to make a single good "Samurai" game that isn't Nioh?
