In WWII soldiers discovered that they could run much faster by slinging their rifles over their shoulders and drawing a knife or pistol. This changed warfare forever.

Real soldiers only 360 no scope.

The 20 July plot would have worked if they 360 no scoped that cunt Hitler instead of trying to blow him up.

Imagine if the animus from the AC games were real. That would be to cool to be hooked up to a machine and see the world your ancestors lived in.

Though I doubt that any of my ancestors were assassins, they would most likely be peasants in the Medieval Ages.

I'm starting to regret marrying the first person who showed up at my house in Sims 4. I thought there was an achievement in it, so I just ran with it. Alas there wasn't, and this guy is a real bitch.

I first read that as 'Imagine if the animals from the AC games were real'.

I'd love to give Isabelle pets and treats. She is a good girl.

It´s all fun and games until your decadents learn what kind of fucked up shit you were into or you get to watch your ancestors do the naked tango. Or if they were a veteran get to watch all the fucked up shit they saw while alive.

In light of this newfound serious tone, gamers are assuming roles in government. We're all fucked.

Or worse, watch them farm and deal with manure in the year 1568.

I’ll never understand why these Nintendo games marketed primarily towards children (though they certainly have their adult fans) sometimes attract such creeps and weirdos.

It seems like almost all their major games have dark sides. Fire Emblem has a similar scandal with a Prominent YouTuber. Animal Crossing had, like, a black market going on or some shit. I don’t know about anything illegal, but Zelda certainly has its toxic side.

Black Flag mentioned that with a guy who had to go through the memories of Edward’s Welsh father.

He says something to the effect of “Edward was a badass pirate but I’m stuck with his sheep shit shoveling dad.”

It’s like they say in the Quran

“They ask ye about [Nintendo properties]. Say, "In them is great sin and (yet, some) benefit for people. But their sin is greater than their benefit...”

Because most of those franchises are 30+ years old by now and the people who grew up with them are now old enough to buy video games form them self and their children. So even though the marketing is aimed at children with the intent of drawing new generations in as new customers there is still a large amount of old customers buying for the nostalgia.

You know what that's a good point I rather not see my ancestors do something disturbing.

Also I would rather not have people poking around my memories.

Watchdogs I was actually pretty fun once you get past the graphics drama and the bland protagonist. I've heard nothing but good things for WD2.

I never played 2. Mostly cause I didn't like 1 that much. Very forgettable game.

I'm unhealthily hyped for Flight Simulator 2020, but blah, I live with shitty Internet.

At least Frontier was bought out, and it sounds like my new provider is a lot better and will possibly get fiber out all over. They already sound better, and they've been literally roasting Frontier in ads.

So basically the modern western political migration narrative? Why are you surprised?

The modern western migration narrative is typically that "white man settling in other people's land bad, other people taking up arms to stop them not bad", so I'm not quite sure what you're talking about.

The modern narrative toward the vikings is to insanely downplay the blood thirsty raider part though and make a big deal of their other practices to the point of making them look like victims of historical revisionism.
