What does your constitution have to do with anything? Your government is NOT preventing you from speaking your mind. The military is preventing you from doing so in a particular time and place of their choosing which happens to be owned by them leaving all other avenues open. By that logic your freedom of movement and assembly are also denied because you are not allowed to enter top secret government facilities and hang out there with known terrorists.

I mean, look at it this way. What would happen if you were to go to a public recruitment rally and try to do the same sort of thing there? Because this is a recruitment rally.

Free speech isn't protected on the internet. US likes to think it is, but constant threats have jepeordized and made it more difficult to defend. First companies threatened it under the guise of protecting kids and claiming that they don't want certain content on their platform. This time instead it's the government. The issue is companies normalized censorship. And the government followed what any streamer on twitch would do.

Yeah, real stealthy.

To be fair, Edward only becomes an Assassin at the end of his pirate career.

Blackbeard was not how all pirates acted. The idea of pirates going around and constantly engaging in naval battles against government ships is a fun one, but not really accurate. Pirates preferred to get treasure in less violent ways and thus tended to use surprise by sneaking up on vessels to persuade them to hand over their things.

So far the only criticism I see on Valhalla in the gameplay trailer is that the game is not about assassins anymore. Which doesn't bother me since I'm not very good at stealth and the fact that I get to go on raids is pretty cool.

Then they shouldn't call it ASSASSINS Creed.

On a different note, I think Red Dead 2 bugged on me. Cause the next story mission refuses to show up.

It did have a lot of wacky nonsense, one element of which is that the Assassins aren't just assassins, if you get me. They're a whole counter-illuminati secret society. Their thing isn't just stealth operations to kill specific people, they have some poorly explained philosophy about freedom or something.

There might be legal implications to the US Army, as agents of the government, blocking people on Twitch. President Trump isn't allowed to block people on Twitter, because he's the President.

I mean seeing as pirates are pretty staunch opponents of Empires and such, it makes sense that Assassins philosophy would resonate with them. As for the vikings, if say the Templars were in control of the monarchies of western Europe, it would make sense for the Assassins to support the people actively fighting said monarchies.

Except for the fact that the President is the leader of the government and the military and the military is funded by the government. So it is a part of the goverment.

It's funded and payed by the government and does services for the government. It is owned by the goverment.

It makes a big difference. Streamers are private people while the Army is government owned. As such it should not be allowed to ban anything, as the first amendment applyes to it.
