Honestly that always confuses me with revenge stories. Like you killed a bunch of henchmen who were likely just trying to support their family, but then when confronted with the actual scumbag who did the bad thing killing them is a bit far? Like you have gone this far might as well go all the way.

Once I want the villain to point out how many fucking people the hero killed on his way when the self-deluding idiot points out 'killing him won't solve anything'.

Dr. Breen actually did that in a way, and I quote: "Tell me, Dr. Freeman, if you can. You have destroyed so much. What is it, exactly, that you have created? Can you name even one thing? I thought not."

I thought Breen was a pretty realistic collaborator. He’s clearly in it for himself first and foremost, but he brings up valid arguments about the rebels and the necessity of surrendering to the Combine.

KOTOR 2 spoiler:
Kreia says something similar on the dark side route: basically a "What purpose did eradicating the jedi give you?"

I just got Rimworld a few days ago and I'm enjoying it so far. I panicked before my first winter started in my longest-running game so far and now have way too much raw food lying around. I can't wait to find out how that will somehow become more of a problem than having too little food would have been.

Also, RIP Coxxy. If only I had assigned our actual doctor to treat your plague instead of making you attempt it yourself because I misread your medical skill.

It's best to manufacture the raw food into a meal, as meals tend to last longer if not frozen or refrigerated, and that is vital during the inevitable power outages during solar flares that knocks out refrigeration units in your fridges and freezers.

I've got a vault that I'm pretty happy with. It has one main entrance which is easy to defend with turrets and minefields. It also has one back "entrance" that opens on to an isolated patch of land surrounded by mountains that is cut off from the rest of the map, I use it for farming and power generation. However I found that there is a natural cave and tunnel system in aforementioned mountains, and one group of raiders tried to dig into my vault through the caves. I needed to send my vault dwellers into the caves to kill the raiders to stop them. I have now filled the caves with spike traps and sealed up the entrances with walls to make it more difficult for the raiders in the future. There haven't been any raiders using the caves since then, so I think it is acting as a good deterrent.

One word. Starforts. I like to build my bases in a square with little turrets jutting out for people to fire out of. There is nowhere on the map that's not in a crossfire.

Ah yeah.

Anyway bf2 continues to be a great game when it isn't killing my frame rate or takeing centuries to load.

But to be fair i busted down some of the settings so now it only takes decades to load.

Might have to go back and bust everything down to low. Kinda weird. My laptop isn't the greatest but it should be able to run this game fine like it runs doom 2016 fine. It also runs Witcher 3 great so I really don't get why its so slow. I'll update my drivers and set everything back down to low. That should do something.

Drivers updated, system restarted and, everything set to low.

We finally have better loading times down to a minute and frames are more stable.

Still kinda pissed that my geforce experience setings just make the game a pain in the ass to play. Thats not on my GPU, thats on the game.

The Frostbyte engine: Your game looks great but runs like crap.

Flamethrower class is so much fun just melting stuff.

I started playing this early access game, Stoneshard, on Steam. It's a pretty hardcore rogue-like, but it's pretty fun. It reminds me of, like, Nethack and Darkest Dungeon had a lovechild.

What I was thinking about Disco Elysium and its "skills have dialogue/commentary" system is that how much it hangs on conceptually/thematically on mental state of our interprid hobocob or could/would it work even with more "well adjusted" protagonist.
Although I guess that now disco Elysium has done that no-one else can.

Wish that had gotten a second game seeing how it ended.

Finally after so many failed attempts, the Geth and Quarians are finally at peace with each other in ME3.

Everything feels right now.
