Over the past few months, we heard multiple reports about the three remasters releasing sometime in September. A major new leak from an EA QA Tester details each game’s new features and graphical changes. Each Mass Effect game will be remastered in the trilogy. In addition, development kicked off in early 2017. The leak, which was posted on Reddit, goes into detail about each of the three remastered games. It seems they will not only get a graphical enhancement but also some UI and gameplay changes too. The original game will receive the most robust changes in the trilogy including gameplay tweaks to make it fall in line with ME3. Even some boss fights have been completely redesigned in the Mass Effect Remastered Trilogy.
Take a look at the full breakdown below posted on Reddit. Keep in mind that until confirmed, take this all with a pinch of salt.
The leaks are listed in the link that I posted, so remember since it a list from Reddit take it with a grain of salt when reading this.
But other than that these so called "leaks" are saying that the remastered Mass Effect Trilogy will not only get a graphics upgrade, but gameplay upgrades as well with ME1 getting major changes to its gameplay. Also according to the leaks the remastered trilogy will have all the DLCs as well as some cut content.
Again take my source with a grain of salt, considering my source got it from a Reddit post. However, if these leaks are confirmed then something tells me that the Mass Effect Remastered Trilogy is going to be epic.
If they literally include every single DLC, minor gun DLCs and small stuff include, I'm going to lose MY FUCKING MIND in the best way possible. I haven't been able to play the series since my 360 went decrepit. I've looked at buying the series again on the One several times and could never bring myself to do it. The costs of re-buying shit that should really be considered already owned is just so absolutely absurd.
I need this remaster in my life NOW, because I've been starving for a less costly return to the original series.
Indeed while I was hoping for a new Mass Effect, a remastered trilogy is still good and according to the "leaks" the graphics are going to be like Dragon Age: Inquisition graphics, but again until these leaks are indeed confirmed by either EA or Bioware we just have to have hope that this "QA Tester" is telling the truth.
