Straight out of the gate for one of Odyssey's side quests, this one dude just blatantly told me, that he was one of the Cultists of Kosmos (main antagonist organization of the game). Because he thought it would make the quandary of the side quest interesting. I killed him immediately after the quest was over. Did that idiot seriously think I was going to leave him alive after everything was said and done? That guy is the worst cultist in this history of cults. I probably just did the Cult a favor by culling him.

You know whats great, you know when you have the upper hand on someone whose armies are better than yours, but you have good generals and a fuck ton of soldiers, so you declare war on them to rush them whilst they are distracted with other things, and then immediately your invasion armies get the plague and start dying of attrition.

Ended up not fucking me too badly though, destroyed sparta a bit later than i had intended to do so, just had to wait a lot longer for my armies to replenish themselves.

Because i finally got a campaign as the Ardiaei where i didnt get fucking murdered or just fucked by everyone around me. Even took out Rome after a very long war, which i only won because they were fighting like everyone.

Now i own greece too. Their army still sucks though compared to most others.

Alright, that's it, I'm fucking calling it. Everything to do with your ship in Odyssey is a huge trash fire. You can't travel in peace anymore, there are just enough pirates roaming the waters that will force you to sail an entire kilometer around if you don't want to enter a catastrophic fight. 99 times out of 100 naval battles, you're just going to fucking die because it doesn't matter how much HP and armor you have, doesn't matter if you brace at every opportunity, you're just fucking done. And if one of those ships happens to be one of the small, fast types, there's no escape. None. At all. I've been doing my best to improve my ship whenever I can afford the absolutely outrageous costs, and yet, the upgrades are so meaningless that they may as well not exist at all.

The entire naval gameplay is EXTREMELY bad. It makes me want to avoid sailing at all costs. Hands down the worst part of what is otherwise an excellent game.

It was a resistance base that was attacked a minute after I made contact. Was hoping he would not show but he did and as soon as he got close it just fell apart. Should have fell back but made a mistake and kept going for it.

He jus mind controlled my last two before I could get them out.

Hoping to at least get a shot at rescuing one at some point, preferably the corporal. But if not it was no one that valuable that was lost.
