My base takes up roughly 2/3 of the map. More if you include the starship I am constructing.

Lol, the new Destiny 2 update is duuuuumb.

Max light level is increased from 960/970 to 1000+. The problem is, 960 still appears to be the soft cap, so levelling up requires powerful and pinnacle gear. That wouldn't be a big problem, except the new seasonal activity is 980 at the lowest, and the new legendary activities are all 1000+ with champion enemies, so good luck getting one-shotted by basic mobs with pistols. The payout for activities is awful too - only 4-6 of the seasonal currency per event, when it takes anywhere from 60 (with cost-reduction upgrades) to 150 of them to get a single upgrade...which maybe give you 10% progress apiece towards ranking up the vendors you use them at...and you need to be rank 3 to even start getting the new weapons for the season. Most people have already abandoned the new activities in favour of just doing bounties, since their payout is actually 10-50 apiece.

The only people I've seen so far who are enjoying the update so far are mainly the PvP community and YouTubers/Streamers, some of whom got to 1000+/Season Rank 50+ in the first twenty-four hours.

Even then, most of the PvP community is probably fucked when Trials of Osiris returns, precisely because power level advantages are enabled, so those 1000-1010+ streamers and sweats will likely be one-shotting most of the competition who are below 980 when it launches tomorrow.

The only good thing so far about this update is the fact that old faction rally armour and guns from Year One are available in the world loot pool again.

It's got some issues - when I tried it the combat seemed clumsy (it might have been patched), but yeah, it's a decent game to try, especially if you already have game pass.

Loading times can be pretty atrocious to be fair. Will probably be much better on PC.

I think it's only technically available on the Epic Games Store and Windows Store (it seems) for PC. No Steam release or other just yet.

Indeed. I mean I'm playing my guy like an amoral dick, and even I couldn't say no to her when

she fell for that engineer lady on Groundbreaker...did get her ripped on whiskey first though. That was fun.

No matter what don't buy from the windows store.

Outer worlds was a great game, just beat it and I love it.

There is a repeatable crash right near the end of the game, didn't like that much. Had to look up a youtube video on how to fix it (right here, spoilers abound).

Audio keeps popping, frame rates when in combat and in towns decided to die sometimes. But these are very small complainants in an overall great game.

Story was fantastic, game play stellar, all bugs minor aside from that end game crash bug.

Just for the love of law, If you are going to get this game -you should- but if you do: wait for a steam release, buy it on epic, get it on console, do not get this game on the Microsoft store.

The only benefit is achievements and the downsides are installing a big ass update for windows that does fuck all for the user experience.
