Finally did the Crown of Sorrows raid in Destiny 2. Pretty fun, for such a short raid.

I'm going to do it again until I get the scout rifle from it.

I know this may sound heretical, but there may be a range, theoretically, for enough dakka.

I think I'm almost finished Witcher 2. It's been fairly good. Combat's actually normal, unlike Witcher 1's weirdness, which is good. Annoying that you can't drink potions in combat, especially when you get dropped into combat from a cutscene with no chance to swallow some Swallow. Witcher 1 was better on that score, you could drink potions in combat but you had to go through the whole animation to do it, so you needed to make some space or use your shield spell. And toxicity feels irrelevant in Witcher 2. In 1 you could kill yourself by taking too many potions in short succession. But in 2 you can only use three potions at a time and can't take any more until they've worn off, and as far as I've noticed there's no way to go over 100 toxicity with three potions.

Still, fun enough.

Beat halo 2. Was fun, level design was way better then what I have played of halo 1.

Had a problem with checkpoints only working after I died.
Like I get to one check point, progress alot, die, respawn on that check point. I get to the same spot I was before I died and not only is there a checkpoint there but there was about 3-4 checkpoints I hit up along the way.

Favorite voice actors/actress in video games? Mine will have to be Mark Meer, Jennifer Hale, Brandon Keener, and Martin Sheen from the Mass Effect trilogy.

Who ever voiced Janette in the original VTM Bloodlines game. Still sends shivers down my spine. The good kind too.

The Sonic movie is out now and from what I hear, its an outstanding success. Having earned $200 million+ so far. They made back their money and more.

Everyone including me, thought that this movie would bomb but it exceeded beyond all expectations and actually improved the design ahead of time. The makers really listened to feedback from the internet to fix any design controversies. The highlight of the production probably is Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik. I'm not going to see it because its clearly for the kids, but from the cut portions I've seen- they seem to have did a decent enough job. This perhaps actually could be a basic family film suitable for most ages.

Its nothing spectacular, and people say there are minor issues with the script and the fact that most video games don't really have enough to work off of to make for a decent plot in terms of story. But they somehow made it work well enough for what it is.

I guess this goes to show that if you're a good enough director, that you can still win at really delivering a victory on a difficult if not impossible project. I didn't think it was possible for Sonic to look good in live action. I'd assume that its meant more for either 2D animation or CGI. Major congratulations are in order for Jeff Fowler. If he's not just lucky but can actually replicate this success, I'd say they could probably make successful sequels to it if they so choose.

To be fair, it's February. Not exactly a lot of strong competition in theaters right now, Course it made its money back.

The colony is going well, but there is some drama. Two of the guys got married, leaving one unmarried bi bachelor who keeps flirting with one of the married guys. And he is persistent. Need another gay or bi guy to join the colony. As I mentioned the guy is bi but he also happens to have the misogynist trait, so even having a woman join the colony might not solve the problem.

I had a colony a while back, with a lovers couple from the very start, a man and a woman. After a good while into the colony the woman cheated on her partner and they split up. She then married her new lover, and at their marriage ceremony began insulting her former lover and one of the other female colonists, who i think later got into a relationship with her ex.

Some housewives level shit going on here.

I can't play the Inca until I get my fill of the amazing Arabic music first. It's the best in the game.

It'd actually be good if they introduced plural marriage into the game, if it was an option that could be permitted or restricted.

I got a gaming PC for Christmas and I started playing Doom 2016 on it, and man, it's insane. It feels so much smoother than playing on console, and I feel like I have a lot more control over Doomguy. It's awesome, and I'm so glad I bought it.

The situation got worse. The three of them were moving supplies in the storeroom and the Bachelor flirted with the guy. The guy's Husband was not amused and flew into a rage and attacked the Bachelor. The Husband is a skinny little runt, while the Bachelor is built like a brick shit house and knows how to handle himself. They fought for a while, and I was panicking that one of them, likely the Husband, was going to end up dead. The fight ended after the Bachelor broke several of the Husband's bones and also his jaw. The Bachelor had a few scratches and bruises. The poor guy who they were fighting over then had to treat both of their injuries. The Bachelor was up and about in less than a day, but the Husband was bedridden for several days while his broken bones and jaw healed. The Bachelor must have felt guilty, as he brought the Husband meals and fed him while he was in bed.

Since then things have settled down a bit. The two of them still trade barbs now and then, but I think the fight has semi-fixed the problem for the time being.
