To be honest, I’m not so much excited as validated. Clearly this remains a constant in this crazy world.

I’m one of those FE fans that sees how the number of characters in Smash makes some people angry with the whole franchise.

So I am starting yet another Skyrim playthrough... This game is really good at pulling me back in time and time again. It is a wonder that Bethesda went from making games like Skyrim to shit like Fallout 76.

Yeah that kind of happens with me a lot with Skyrim, once I reach a certain level or beat the three big DLC quests I kind of go back to Helgen and do it all again, because I feel like an OP God.

Imma play some Doom 2016. Is the multiplayer lobby on PS4 still alive?

Hi guys. Does anyone play Doom here? In particular I am asking about modding GZDoom. TLDR I know how to get the game to load a custom wad for maps. But once it's loaded how the hell do I actually select that custom map? Like there ain't no menu options. Those all just take me to vanilla doom levels.

The Fallout franchise really just has a history of replacing its entire fanbase every decade or so. Luckily we got Wasteland 2 out of the mix, and are getting Wasteland 3 later this year!

Fallout is an odd one honestly. 1 was great. 2 was meh. Like not bad by any means. But it was just more of the same. Didn't really grip me. 3 was good. Like properly good. But not great. 4 I did not play, but from the reviews I get that I wouldn't enjoy it anyway. So I guess that the franchise has just been going downhill.

I loved 1, couldn't finish 2, thought 3 was not great, am very ambivalent about 4, but fully believe that New Vegas is the best of the franchise.

So I guess I'm in the "bethesda bad" camp.

I think it was Fallout 76 that things really got bad. I recall generally average reviews by the gamers, but a lot of videos about mods and behind-the-scenes debugging, such as the ability to visit locations used in development (such as the pre-war TV studio).

What really diminishes 3 from my perspective is just how nonexistent the characters of your companions are. Like if those had been as fleshed out as something like those in Mass Effect, KOTOR or other RPGs it would have been a fantastic game. As it was, the lack of character to them really diminished my roleplaying experience overall.

Well personally I just find it a little annoying(though this does not make me like Smash or appreciate the work that has been put into any less) on how many FE characters there are. I have no problems with the franchise or characters but I would have liked to see Smash branch out and bring in characters from other franchises instead of bringing in yet another FE character.
